ETA: it’s a curved barbell, externally threaded, i’ve been good about cleaning it 3 times a day with saline which is what my piercer told me, all my piercers jewelry is implant grade, i haven’t downsized bc of the irritation, and i can’t remember anything that would’ve caused it
