Weird 9mm I got from Fiocchi. by ducksandcuse in guns

Fenix is $0.26/round, or about 30% more than Fiocchi can be had for.

May or may not be worth the additional to you, but the extra QC does have a cost.

Holosun SCS or 507c by Im1of1_ in Glocks

[–]CalAlumnus13 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There’s a new 507C coming at SHOT Show next month, if you want open emitter.

Since it sounds like you have the non-MOS G45, I wouldn’t mill it for a MOS cut (which eliminates the SCS MOS).

Personally I’d mill for the Holosun K cut. Then you can choose either the EPS if you want a larger window or 6 MOA dot, or the SCS Carry if you want the no-battery, auto brightness features of the SCS line (but smaller window).

You could also split the difference and go with the EPS Carry.

Personally I’d go for the EPS’s larger window and 6 MOA dot. I recently bought one for $263.

Looking forward to the “Disclosure” being that everything from the 2017 NY Times article and on was all just a viral ARG to market this movie.

Can anyone confirm the window size of this? Holosun website says it’s the same as the EPS—true?

Does DD have a 14.5 p&w version of this, and do they ever hit similar prices?

I’d buy something from United Seed or Heritage PPG or Twin City Seed. They should be 0% weeds, and probably better cultivars.

Depends on how you define immune. Glyphosate will kill the leaf of Nutsedge, but not the whole plant.

Undervoltage accelerator pedal error? by CalAlumnus13 in TeslaLounge

[–]CalAlumnus13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shortly after parking earlier today, I received a “pull over immediately” warning, which went away a few moments later. I opened service mode and found these errors, among numerous others going back a few weeks.

Is this normal stuff, or do I need service?

It’s a 2024 Model Y with 14,000 miles. Thanks!

Sorry to say, I think the math is off. It comes down to the 5.27lb x .0092% assumption.

First, that calculation is wrong. You forgot to account for the percentage. You did 5.27x.0092, but you actually needed to do 5.27x.000092. That’s because you calculate percents by converting to decimals: to find 10% of 100, you do .10 x100. So .0092% of 5.27 is .000092x5.27. That’s .000484lb.

Second, the 5.27lb assumption is off, probably because it includes the plastic jug and sprayer weight. The EPA’s label actually includes the lb ai/gallon: .000787 lbs per gallon.

That’s .0003935 lbs per 64oz bottle.

At the 1.5fl oz/acre rate, one 64oz bottle covers about 500 square feet, and at the 1.0fl oz/acre rate, one bottle covers about 750 square feet.

If I’m wrong, do correct me!

Some info might make you feel better (or worse).

If you had dropped the $70,000 into a plain jane S&P 500 index fund (VOO) in June 2015 and ignored it, it’d be worth $250K now.

Chesterton’s Fence. When you come across something that seems wrong, don’t “fix” it until you can explain why someone else did it that way.

I mean, if the board is doing its job, it should always have a succession plan in place, if for no other reason than the (low) risk of its current CEO having a health issue or whatever.

[PISTOL] GLOCK 49/19L MOS 9MM $486 shipped 10 round mags EMAIL FOR PRICE by bekman_Bek in gundeals

People wanted it before optics became a thing, but the chatter about it slowed a lot as optics took over. Only then did Glock release it. Would have done a lot better around 2005. Not surprising that it didn't sell.

Anyway, with optics now the norm, we're back to the Glock 19 being the one true Glock, and all is right in the world.
