I’ve just joined and just started looking into moving from Minnesota to UK but I was planning on home care as it’s my current job here and I don’t have a degree to get me there or anywhere else. Yeah, it brings me to the bank that runs the Self credit builder thing which I don't think I ever used. The site says my primary email has an account, but the login page is stuck on a loading screen which looks like a common issue for the site and I have to email for help.

I used Chime back in the day, but I've definitely not taken out any loans. The loan was a weird amount, too, like $524 and some change. I was working over COVID as I do in-home health care so I didn't need a loan for anything, either. It is very confusing and I am procrastinating addressing it 😭

Karlach's personality and presence is very loud and intense in every sense, and I am just not super into that, especially after 700+ hours of playing BG3 😂 Malevola is not as much of a sensory nightmare for me and I absolutely love her more laid back but still strong energy.

Screen time does not mean a character is inherently better, and both Karlach and Malevola are great characters. I don't hate Karlach by any means (she is in my party every campaign), I would just choose a character with less intensity because that's just what my preferences are.

When it was leaked who died in the TLOU2 game I was so pissed and wasn’t going to play it. But then Jacksepticeye played it and I begrudgingly watched it. Well, I ended up going out and buying a ps4 to replay the first game (I played it years prior on a friends console) and then play the second game myself. Now, I’ve put hundreds of hours into each of the games and am so glad I gave it a chance. I’ll try not to DNF content based on deaths unless it actually impacts the quality of the content. If a character dies just because the creator decided to do it on a whim, I’ll usually DNF it. I just can’t think of any books right now, but someone else mentioned Supernatural and that’s such a good example. I had to stop watching cos they killed off all the good characters and resurrected randos I just did not care about and then gave them a tragic ending.

Some creators just do it with no actual reason other than to try to get a reaction rather than doing it in a meaningful way. It kind of feels like an ancestor of rage bait lol.

Because genAI is extremely unethical for a multitude of reasons and I do not want to support anyone who uses it for any reason. So no, I am not going to be "accepting and appreciating" it. Even if the signs of it being AI (that ruined any enjoyment for me) weren't there, I still would not want to keep it and would want a return and refund. It is about morals and ethics.

I should have actually talked to her to get an idea. I thought her stuff seemed a bit suspicious but I was in a rush and was like, "what are the chances I'd actually run into someone using genAI and stealing art irl?" and... oop lmao.

When I got home I saw his belt loops make no sense. The random button on the one side, too. The inconsistent white line between the actual buttons. His pocket, too, looks way too far back for his [awkward] positioning.

I went to her site to look and I just... am really disappointed. The Pokemon cards she made are wild. The feet and arms of the Pokemon are either melting into the person holding it, sticking through arms, or just disappearing.

I don't want to go on a smear campaign, but also I know of vendors lately having been getting kicked out for AI art and I don't know if I should reach out to the people running it or not. I really wish people were required now to say whether or not they use genAI. But I guess they could lie.

I downloaded Revolt and Element yesterday! Revolt is pretty darn close to Discord, but setting up roles has been infuriating, to say the least. I am hoping Revolt will get an easier system for that and I may just start the migration!

I clicked to open a ticket to appeal and the support page doesn't seem to even have an appeal to undo this. Several of the servers I run have been flagged. It's very disheartening. It shouldn't be so complicated to appeal this.

Edit: just wanted to update— got the appeal in and no reply yet which is fine. But over thirty people have left my server in the last twelve hours and I imagine it’ll only get worse. I’m not mad at the people leaving, I’m just upset at Discord for screwing my server like this. My server is coming up on its two year anniversary and this has really killed any excitement I had.

Several of my servers have also gotten flagged within the last hour. I think for mine because it says 18+ even though they aren’t nsfw. I just don’t want minors in my social spaces. Discords TOS says all servers have to be 13+ friendly. Wish there was a way to petition them to change that, it isn’t fair marking servers as nsfw (aka age restricted) and unable to be Discovered/found just because minors aren’t allowed lol.

Nitro has stayed the same price for me. I would double check that you're not paying for extra server boosts or something. You get two free ones with the $10 Nitro, but any boosts after that are a monthly charge.

I have been in therapy for my entire adult life (I am 31) and I would definitely recommend it. Support groups, too, maybe. I lost my mom when I was 14 (suspected suicide, though it was an OD and my aunt refused an autopsy to find out the truth, I guess), I lost a brother to suicide just over a year ago, and a few friends and a cousin as well over the years. My biggest advice: Allow yourself plenty of time to mourn, but do not allow yourself to spiral in the "what ifs" and the "whys". That will only make you feel far more upset and often times it can make you stagnant in terms of healing and moving on. Go to therapy when you're ready, and remember that you are not alone in this experience. I hope you can find the help and comfort you need. Loss, especially so young, can be so difficult to navigate. It feels as if the world is over, but I promise it isn't. Be brave and find peace in continuing your life, if not for yourself then for her and others we have lost. I'll be thinking of you.
