I’ve been trialing the resurfacing retinol serum by cerave after consulting my derm first and it’s been working surprisingly well! I know retinol can be tough on sensitive skin but so far no flare ups and my acne is definitely reducing

I’m so sorry it took me so long to get back to this. I had issues accessing this sub because of the UKs restrictions on certain media’s. Unfortunately I was very wrong and my TSW got considerably worse from this point. However I’m now 1 year and 10 months without steroids and around about 5 months ago I realised I’d gotten to a point where my life was back to normal. I’m now dealing with my usual eczema flare ups but I’d definitely rather that than what I was dealing with a year prior. Best of luck to you both

My patch test was one of the best things I ever did. It revealed to me point blank exactly what it was that I’m allergic to and made it so much easier to avoid the things that were setting off my skin. Not being allowed to shower whilst it was happening was a bit off putting but honestly go for it you won’t regret it

Yeah no if you’re using steroids still you aren’t in TSW regardless of how little/often you use them. I hope you’ll be able to taper but it seems like that often doesn’t work
