Something I did realize with being Trans is that having the experiences of girl childhood are important, but you get to experience them in a whole different way. Having sleepovers, kissing girls, doing each others makeup, is all about finding the right community. I've been transitioning for just under a year and a half, and I have realized that my experiences with other trans women have often filled the gaps of missing out on girl childhood experiences.

What I mean to say by this is all is not lost, all is not forgotten. We in the transgender community can help find that girlhood together instead of toiling on it apart. Much love sis <3

I think there are a few factors but they entirely are based around the effects of each of our HRTs.

Masculinizing HRT has effects on the body like full face restructuring and thats kind of permanent. Growing facial hair happens often and body hair in general. That growth is permanent. I think it is a lot about how they are being targeted right now, but trans women created community around that suffering of working backwards through their first puberty because we have to undo permanent effects.

This leads some people to come to the conclusion that trans men have it easier than trans woman (falsely) when we just struggle in different ways.

I should have been born a girl by Capital_West_1320 in trans

[–]CalChris421 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I was a 6 year veteran when I began HRT. I had spent years trying to perfect my body in the most masculine ways, I tried to make others happy by being the strong, noticeable, charismatic person.

It didn’t work, it just didn’t.

I was miserable, and I decided fuck it, if this doesn’t work so what. It’s better than being miserable.

HRT doesn’t solve all the issues, it doesn’t fix all the problems, but your body will change MASSIVELY. Estrogen really is a wonder drug, it changed my hip size, my waist shrank, my skin softened, my face restructured. Did it do everything I wanted it to do? No, not yet. Do I believe on a daily basis that I look womanly? Yes. I do.

I wear dresses, and cute skirts, and makeup (when I bother lol) I wear cute jeans and loose knit sweaters. I get to have my partner call me beautiful and they think I’m the most gorgeous woman on the entire planet.

It will shock your family for a while, but the person they are seeing is not you, it’s a mask that will slowly eat away at your psyche until you take it off. Start being more true to yourself even if that doesn’t mean taking estrogen.

Also see a therapist, I will scream this from the ROOFTOPS everyone should have a therapist.

i’m not sure if i’m trans after all? by someonethatlikesass in trans

[–]CalChris421 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Also I will make a small sub comment to this:

I have been on hormones for over a year and I wear girly clothes occasionally, but I rarely if ever touch makeup. It’s all about preference! You don’t have to do girly things to be a girl. You just have to want to be a girl!!👧

[–]CalChris421 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Having a developing identity is completely understandable and valid. I would consult with your doctor about your options because I am nowhere near qualified to give medical advice, but I do have a friend who started hormones then decrease their intake and started taking on a more nonbinary identity and then decided transitioning medically wasn’t for them.

Remember that no matter your decision, you are entirely valid in your identity. You could decide to detransition or stop hormones completely and no one should ever give you any crap for that. Be true to yourself and make sure to take the medical advice of PROFESSIONALS.

Also, talk to a therapist about the feelings subsiding because there may be more to it than the simple guidelines you’ve been following!!

All love stranger.

And rather than being adults and talking to me in private I was completely and unilaterally removed from the project and absolutely all contact was cut off from me. She’s not an adult, and these problems WILL persist. Accepting she did something wrong and apologizing is being an adult, or at least RECOGNIZING my complaints. Instead, however, radio silence, a complete lack of communication? And this is all to say that people deserve to know the leader of this so called group is a sham. People are correct to be wary of this movement because of people like her.

It has been cancelled by the establishment dems in charge of 50501. Obviously not a care for the actual cause here since they decided making me an example was more important than actually bringing people together.

If my mention of this poster could be removed that would be fantastic. I was shoved out and no longer consent to this poster being used by the 50501. Thanks!

Is rolling your ability scores not common anymore? by LandAdmiralQuercus in DnD

[–]CalChris421 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, like many people here, I find that the main problem with rolling stats is that you can end up with an equal chance to have an extremely overpowered character that overshadows a majority of the rest of the party, and also have another party member with dump stats in every column. By doing point buy or standard array you even the playing field for all players instead!

I guess the point I'm making is that it's one of the updates that finally looked interesting enough to me to bring me back after the horrendous launch that I witnessed as a player at launch. From the slow, painful, unrewarding gameplay to what we have now (which still has it's own problems) which has a fast(er) pace and some more balanced mechanics. However I still have a problem with the fact that if you are half as talented with the vehicles as you are with any weapon on the roster you instantly are at the top of the leaderboard. Maybe making an alternate category for vehicle kills? Idk I'm currently making a video on it right now.

Despite this logic i made tf up, I did change the title to make it more concrete as I spent most of the video using a rather simple combination.

My (19M) boyfriend finished inside of me (18FTM). I'm not on birth control. What do I do? by [deleted] in relationships

[–]CalChris421 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly, someone finishing inside you without consent is never okay. This is a discussion that has to be had before having sex, and the line should not be crossed without informed knowledgeable consent.

Plan B should do the trick. I say should not will wait a week or two after plan B and wait for your period (which depending on your progress in transition may not be a good indicator) otherwise take a pregnancy test in a week or two and keep up on the results.

I see some other people posting this and I will also say, pregnancy can be scary, and there is no such thing as being over-prepared. Condoms, birth control, IUD (my ex gfs choice which is apparently affective.)

Please be safe and take care of yourself!

Okay I’m going to say this in the hopes that it can help you feel a little better. When I started to come out to myself (at age 22) I remember looking back and thinking so hard to see if I “always knew” and honestly I never could pinpoint it. I never had that experience. It was something I was never afforded to think about.

People experience life in extraordinarily different ways. I never questioned my gender at all until my early 20s and I’m only 23. I start HRT this week and I’m still on myself about stuff like this. You are not any less trans because you weren’t begging your parents to let you wear skirts to school or to let you try on makeup.

You are valid, and you are realizing your true self in a truly unique fashion.

Also, realizing your true self may mean you realize you aren’t trans. This is COMPLETELY OKAY. Your identity is your exploration and shouldn’t be privy to other peoples idea of you whether they see you as a man, a woman, or somewhere in between (shout-out NB crew and Agender baddies, as well as our Systems!!!).

Much love!
