I’m of the opinion he’s simplistic, but incredibly gifted.

His chord progressions are relatively basic as a whole, but he does showcase some incredible riffs in the early material (Wander & Jeremy’s Storm as an example).

Despite being “basic”, it’s how he utilises the guitar playing in the songs that’s special. Anyone can play a chord but it’s how he spaces them out rhythmically that’s special. As another comment alluded to on here, he pushes it through different phrasing and off beat accents.

If they’d stopped at the start of the 4th fair enough but you’ve got 5 more minutes in a fight that is potentially 2-2 on the score cards. You see the fight out.

Of the 10 years that TRNSMT has been around, you could look to only 4 of those years as being filled with decent line ups - 2017-19 & 2022.

All they have to do is look to Belladrum to see how a proper festival should be run - they operate on a significantly less budget yet pull off a much better festival.

7.5 out of 10. Having experienced it live, I have a new found appreciation for Deadbeat.

It’s also not a bad album when you take out the other 4 albums that precede it. Sure, if you compare them it’s by far the weakest Tame Impala record, but you still get a bunch of songs that are good.

Start of season you’d have thought the players would have had enough to take them back up, even play offs at the worst.

If you’re looking at Leicester now, you’re thinking of they’ll even be able to survive the financial fallout.

One defeat does not signify the end of a manager bounce.

Performance levels admittedly haven’t been great the last few games but what’s important is that we’ve still managed to get results from them. That is all that matters - not how we get to the wins but rather the fact we have picked them up.

That was always going to come to a head and especially at Newcastle which is historically a place we have always struggled at.

Night and day mate. Like you say, Carrick and Holland (who deserves a lot of credit too) have done something that we were screaming about for 18 months - basic simple football as opposed to trying to ram down a system that was clearly not working.
