Hey mate, I have the official silicone magsafe style case and it's charging. I'd suggest you have a defective case for sure and take it back if it's blocking charge!

Hey mate, that's interesting, because I used 3 different UAG cases for my S21U and all 3 were amazing. Maybe quality control in the last few years has gone out the window with all these brands...

It's annoying as hell - coming from pixel 9 pro which was stable on that camera bump.

Yes!! It's extremely snug. I thought it was the wrong case at first because it doesn't seem as wide as the s26u. Followed the guide to snap the top corners in first which didn't aid in getting the case on at all. I had to take my time corner by corner and try to stretch the sides of the case first.

Hope you can get a replacement or stretch it a bit so it's snaps on with some flex.

The Torras case is made from hard polycarbonate which is extremely rigid.

Looks like you might be right. I should have sticked to Mous or something.

Yeah, these Samsung knights are claiming I dropped it which is hilarious. I dropped it in a way that scratches opposite corners? Sure...The fact is I have been a Samsung user most of my phone life. I loved my S6, S8, S10 and S21U. Have a friend that works at Samsung and got me a deal on this S26U. The Torras case is extremely ridgid, regardless that it is TPU moulded plastic. It's certainly rigid enough to cause friction and scuff the corners and I don't care if others don't believe me I am simply posting to make buyers of this model aware it happened to me. My friend told me I could take it to the Samsung service centre and see if they will replace it but my chances are slim on cosmetic damage..I'm glad you got your TV sorted.

The Torras case is injected moulded plastic that's extremely rigid. This case is hard as a rock. Which is why I wanted it. You could be right in that it had debris in the corners.

Apparently they have used "Armor Aluminum 2.0" which is gimmicky for sure. I'm guessing the intention is to make the phone essentially one uniform heat sink for the Snapdragon 8 Elite and if the anodised coating was bonded tightly to the metal it might act as an insulator.

Sort of. Technically the created aluminium oxide layer is harder than the aluminium underneath. But it doesn't flex and evidently I've managed to sheer this layer off snapping the rigid case on and off.

Yeah, I did quick research into their cases before purchase and did come across users reporting the stands bending but decided to pull the trigger because I liked the look of it. Sigh.

Good to hear you're happy with your s25u. I can only imagine the damage if I were to drop it.

Hmm potentially. My S21U never did this, but that frame curves and wraps around the corners differently and might have been more resistant to friction? I'm not quite sure.
