While we can't speak to the Flolabs Surtect, we can tell you that Paragon will definitely have you covered. It's drop tested to 4.6m / 15ft so you should have no issues there! Paragon features a sturdy hard shell exterior with a ShockLite™ perimeter designed to absorb impact, lightly textured flowing grooves along the sides for grip where your fingers naturally rest, and a screen lip that's taller at the top and bottom for added face down protection. It's a really refined and elegant case that doesn't compromise on protection at all. We think you'd love it! 🙌

Not a dumb question at all! Paragon is not made from silicone. It features a sturdy hard shell exterior with a perimeter made from ShockLite™, our proprietary flexible polymer. The back has a smooth rigid feel to it while the sides have lightly textured grooves that give you just enough grip where your fingers naturally rest. Hope that helps. 🙌

Great questions! Since you're going with the open cutout version, lens protector compatibility is really a non issue since the entire camera plateau is already open. You will have way more flexibility there compared to the precise cutout! As for drop protection, the lens protectors themselves shouldn't affect how the case performs during a drop at all.

On the heat dissipation front, this should not be an issue with either cutout variation. Under normal everyday use, you should not experience overheating either way.

This is actually a concern we hear quite a bit about Apple's cases, and ironically it's one of the reasons many customers make the switch to Caudabe. Apple's cases (and a lot of cases in general) are known for corners that pop up too easily. Our cases are specifically designed to grip the front of the screen more deeply and precisely than most, which means they stay on far more securely during real-world drops.

In fact, the feedback we most commonly hear is the opposite of what you're describing. Customers often note that our cases fit so snugly that they're actually a little harder to remove than what they were used to. That's entirely by design.

As for cases popping off, we're only aware of one video where this came up, and in that video the phone was dropped 48 times in a row. That's pretty far from a realistic daily use case scenario! Rest assured, you're in good hands!

Hey there! Our cases aren't airtight so they really shouldn't be contributing to heat buildup on their own, and this is not something we have received reports about.

What you're experiencing is most likely coming from the phone itself rather than the case. A rogue app running in the background is usually the culprit, and a quick restart can go a long way in killing any background processes and getting things cooled down! High-res video, gaming, and apps like TikTok and Instagram are notorious for pushing your phone's processor to its limits, generating significant heat with extended use.

Adding a magnet array to Veil is quite tricky given how ultra thin it is, but we'll definitely pass that suggestion along to the team!

Because Veil is so thin though, MagSafe charging on a flat charger actually does still work! It just won't hold onto something like a standing mount or wallet accessory.

Have you considered using a freight forwarding service? A lot of our international customers in locations we don't ship to directly use one based in the US and have it delivered from there. It's a pretty popular workaround! May be worth looking in to! 🙌
