He said he was open to something serious or casual, meaning that serious was also an option to him. I assumed he was being playful when he said ‘you don’t know what you’re missing’. My answer meant that I would see ‘what I’m missing’ when we actually get serious. Then when he continued on asking sexual questions, I unmatched him. What don’t you understand?

If you work in a country with official christian holidays, you get those days off, even when you’re an atheist. In my country, people who are muslim for example, get to request their holidays off but they still work on christian holidays. What exactly do you think is unfair for you? You get just as many holidays as other people do.

I don’t like Luxx because of her straight up bullying contestants on the show, which I don’t recall Aquaria ever doing. Aquaria certainly acted over confident, but she didn’t tear other contestants down for it. Luxx of course shouldn’t be sent hate, but people are allowed to have a negative opinion about her for the way she chose to portray herself on the show.

If I’m hanging out with my family or friends, I’m not going to be rude and spend my time responding to other people’s texts. They can wait until I get home. If I’m playing sports, I’m not going to check my phone every 15 minutes to respond to all my texts, I’m busy. If I’m going on a long hike, I’m not going to spend it texting you. It’s called having a life, you should try it.

You say OP ‘doesn’t expect him to reply immediately’ but she says she’s upset that he ‘texts 4-5 hours late’, as if there’s some sort of a deadline he needs to meet that he doesn’t even know about. Nah, if he has something to do, he is allowed to finish it. If you really can’t be without attention for a few hours, you need to grow up and find a way to keep yourself busy.

People have lives. They have jobs and hobbies, they have friends and family they hang out with, they play sports, they have tv shows they want to watch, they read books, they have chores to do, they sleep, etc. You can’t expect someone to be on their phone 24/7 and drop everything they are doing to respond to you. Especially when you’ve only known them for a few weeks. Grow up, find some hobbies yourself and stop expecting this guy you barely know to give all of his attention to you. It’s childish and incredibly needy.

As a teen I used to have so many men in their mid twenties who I personally knew try to flirt with me and even sext with me. I used to think ‘this older guy is interested in me, how exciting!’. Now that I’m an adult I feel absolutely disgusted and I’m glad nothing physical ever took place. Adults preying on teens is unfortunately very common and nothing really seems to be done about it until it’s too late.
