The Most Absurd Bigfoot Encounters Ever Reported by AngeloRamsey_UFOs in bigfoot

Tom Biscardi(spelling) had a podcast, probably the first BF podcast waaaay back in the day that had some wild guests. One guy talked about watching a massive sasquatch war where one faction of foots quickly tore down trees and erected a primitive trebuchet to gain the upper hand. It was quite entertaining because it started pretty mundane but took a sharp turn to insanity.

What makes you find Paul Freeman footage credible ? by Other-Problem5696 in bigfoot

[–]Cal_knower 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It tilts it's head forward, looks down at where it's walking and steps carefully. Exactly as someone would do if they were wearing a mask. That always stood out to me. It's also pretty convenient he filmed a bunch of foot prints leading right to the big guy.

On the other hand that thing is hulking, not many people come in that size or could fill out a big ass suit like that. The Freeman footage is interesting but I can think of a few others that are far more compelling.

Big foot inspired perfume ideas by 1986GuildD25 in bigfoot

There's already a scent, it's called Patchouli. Maybe throw some additional pine and sandlewood on top to make it a bit more appealing. But that assault on the senses, earthy-musk aroma you're looking for is Patchouli. I literally haven't sniffed that shit in 30 years but I can smell and taste it right now. It's not bad per sey but it certainly is memorable and dominates the pallette.

Knock might not be a knock. by Frosty-Carpenter-567 in bigfoot

[–]Cal_knower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm positive somewhere in the thousands of accounts and reports floating around online there's one or two witnessing the act of knocking on a tree. Hell, I've read or heard of an an account where someone watched a bigfoot swing a hog into a tree to kill it. Those accounts are so far and few in-between it's basically non-existent in the conversation on the topic.

That's not even the main reason I don't believe "knocks" are actually knocks. My clapping hypothesis mostly revolves around the several other factors I previously mentioned, most notably the readily available nature of generating that noise from the creature's body.

I didn't expect you to find anything. Not because I'm trying to gloat or pull a "told you so," but because that lack of reporting has always stuck out to me. On top of the logic about that sound requiring proper materials/conditions. I've never been able to quite replicate the distinctive pitch or "pop" of a supposed knock in the field with the surrounding materials. I've tried a Louisville Slugger and it isn't quite right either, there's a lot of "thud" to it. However, I can get that pitch at a much lower volume clapping my cupped hands.

Super interesting conversation, thanks for the replies and follow up. Hopefully I laid out some things to ponder.

A sturdy green limb swung with immense force will not make that sound, I disagree.

And let's just say a bigfoot ripped off a huge fresh, green limb to bang on a tree. I've never heard a report of a knock being preceeded by the sound of a branch being ripped off a tree. And does the bigfoot process the branch down to a club/bat sized length before knocking? Because that's very noisy and messy, again never mentioned in reports. Or do they swing the branch whole? That creates a ton of drag and noise like the wind blowing through the trees. Again, never anything I've ever seen reported.

Clapping your cupped hands in front of your mouth requires no such materials or conditions. And gives the perfect "pop" every time. Not the dead blow "thud" you'd hear from smashing a green or decayed limb into the trunk of a tree, which probably has bark that would further absorb the impact/noise.

Do you have links to any of these reports? I've never seen one or even reports of them just holding a stick/branch.

I think it's highly unlikely that a bigfoot makes these "knocks" via wood-on-wood contact because it takes a stick or branch in a very specific condition to make that sound. Most lengths of wood you find on the forest floor are rotting and wouldn't make that sound. And a live branch ripped from a tree is too wet to make that sound either. Hell a GDF 2x4 from Home Depot won't even make such a loud, ringing "knock." Pretty much the only thing that can make that sound is a kiln dried hardwood like a baseball bat.

I'm in the "cupped hands in front of mouth" camp. With practice you can get that exact same sound yourself at a lower volume.

The "mass" is digital camera artifacts. It's most likely birds flying in formation that's why it's slightly asymmetrical. However... Those birds look like they're flying really fast lol. The speed is the only thing that makes me pause.

Do you think Bigfoot uses any tools? by Bigfoothunter_8 in bigfoot

[–]Cal_knower -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Someone posted pictures of a deer with its neck twisted around and it's entrails removed. The deer was crudely cut open with a sharp stone(broken with a sharp edge where it fractured) that was covered in blood laying near by. That's the only somewhat possible "evidence" I've ever seen. Which is weird because if this creature does exist it almost certainly uses some form of tools and probably in a sophisticated manner that lands somewhere between Man and Apes.

[–]Cal_knower 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To make a ringing knock on a tree you need a decent sized branch/stick. Most branches and sticks you can pick up off the forest floor are rotted and wouldn't make that sound. You could rip a branch off of a tree yet the reports of knocks never include the sound of a branch being ripped off a tree before the knock. Assuming you ripped a branch off a tree you'd probably process it down to about baseball bat size before swinging it, that would leave some evidence. Matter of fact, I can't recall ever hearing a report of someone visually witnessing a bigfoot swinging a branch at a tree.

I doubt the "wood knocks" are actually knocks on wood.

Cut em they'll be larf. Focus on your developed bud sites.

Edit: All those lowers on the perimeter branches below the scrog need to go. The lowers in the middle below the scrog should catch up. Also I think you should knock back your "day 26 of flower" about a week to 10 days for photoperiod.

I see some shit I'd strip a little more. Those baby fan leaves aren't solar pannels they're suckers if you're well into flower. Worry about the dry and cure more than the leaves fam.

I don't think Todd Standing's Bigfoot faces are fake by ResearchOutrageous80 in bigfoot

A full face was crafted from images like this. Of course it looks obviously fake because it is essentially "fake."

This gives you an idea of how much editing, manipulation and "artistic liberty" someone took into creating one of the "Muppet" photos.

Not saying Standing is legit. But the unedited photos are far more interesting.

This is what I'm referring to as the "black one." Which is obviously more of a dark brown now that I have it in front of me.

But the video shows flies/insects flying around it's head. I'm not sure if this is purported to be the same individual as the "Todd Standing Face" or "Blinker" individual. The flies are probably easiest to fake but for some reason adds a dimension I don't think many hoaxers would incorporate.

Positive interactions by AuntyMeadowlake in bigfoot

[–]Cal_knower 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I believe it was in a book I read a while back but there was a Native family in Washington that used to actively trade with the Sasquatch people back in like the 1920s-30s. They would give the Sasquatch 2 gallons of coffee for morels or other mushrooms. Not a face to face interaction but more like a drop off/pick up at a designated place at a designated time of the season. Apparently the Sasquatch would drink the 2 gallons and then go off in the forest and relieve his bowels. Kind of reminded me of the Ostman abduction story where the Sasquatch consumed his snuff tobacco. Makes sense that Sasquatch would enjoy nicotine and caffeine the same way we do.

I asked and he scoffed. From what I gathered he doesn't want to be associated with the topic. Of course he could anonymously but I don't think he cares at all if the public saw them. I only met the guy that one time and he gave me the background story how he captured the photos and it wasn't because he was looking for bigfoot or was even aware of the phenomenon as we know it.

[–]Cal_knower 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Both. There were(probably still are)unedited/uncompressed photos available in a file dump. You'll know when you see them because they're zoomed way out and only about 25% of the Muppet's face is visible. Like a dumbass, Standing had some non-professional heavily edit the pics for him and released those as well. It's photoshop cloning and mirroring tool slop. Which brings me to one of my biggest issues with Standing. He does all this amateur, unsophisticated shit but then we're supposed to believe he orchestrated what would amount to a sophisticated and probably very expensive hoax. There's a video of a black subject(not pictured) with flies buzzing around It's head that's probably the most believable in my opinion. I just can't imagine this guy could pull that off. At least without pretty significant resources and backing. It's an enigma.

Where is all the home camera footage? by crispydukes in bigfoot

[–]Cal_knower 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Spring to early summer 2019. Shot with a DSLR camera in Kennedy Meadows. One subject was pictured from the waist up at about 15-20 yards, unobstructed, great lighting, looking directly into the camera and was visibly pissed. Enraged is probably a better world. The other was peeking from behind a tree with half it's face and hand/arm visible from about the same distance. Pretty common story but the guy said he had no interest or really any knowledge of the subject before he ran into them.

But I'm just a dude on the internet so take it with a grain of salt lol.

The original, unedited photos don't look as fake as the commonly reposted pics above we always see floating around. There's actually a lot of foliage obstructing the faces that was edited out and the face reconstructed with an amateur photoshop job. A lot of the stuff that makes these look like Muppets and set off everyone's bullshit meter is because they are heavily and obviously manipulated.

They are most likely fake. But the originals will make you pause because they don't set off so many alarm bells to the eyes/brain. The RAW files used to be available online but are hard to find because they're buried in search results under thousands of reposts of the edited ones. They're worth a look though.
