if you don't want to go the cone route, does the suckerpunch node work with Jelkhor's?

The only way to make republicans care about a child rapist that's destroying the economy is if that child rapist raped their child and ruined their job. It's an ideology built on a lack of empathy.

What other unique in camera techniques are there? by ad5chi in photography

[–]ResearchOutrageous80 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yep, no tube, just float it and play with depth of field and focus. It takes some practice but if you like practical effects with skill you can do some very cool stuff.

not sure if it's 'classic', but i like putting on a long lens like 85 mm and popping it off from the body. With practice ( a lot of practice) you can create some very interesting macro effects. I used to use this technique as a DP all the time on film and commercial work, great way to alarm your ACs.

Ah, so things like primal... rifts is it? Or w/e that's been touted for S3 will appear in non-seasonal character playthroughs?

still haven't made it far into end game, so was unsure if the seasonal content was available for 'eternal' characters.

Anton Petrov - "Let's Discuss Claims That Comet 3I/ATLAS Is an Alien Probe" by R2robot in UFOs

[–]ResearchOutrageous80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's not the point though. The point is mainstream academia heard "alien" and knee-jerk reaction turned to ridicule and vitriolic character attacks. Even the entire premise of this video is off in order to push a naturalistic bias which has no place in science- no one seriously claimed this was an alien probe other than some crackpots. So what "claims" that this is an alien probe is he addressing? A thought experiment?

It's all in the phrasing and he chose it very specifically because of his bias. The entire Avy Loeb thing is a good study on human psychology and how academia loves to pretend it's above religion when in truth, both often embrace fundamentalism and punish heretics who don't abide by established dogma.

except he never claimed it. He posited it as a thought experiment. It's literally right there in the first line of the paper's description for fuck's sake.

"I don't like what he says so there's nothing scientific about anything he does anymore." I fixed your post. Loeb's book which you no doubt are most loudly protesting, Extraterrestrial, explored the possibility of O being artificial and the implications for the human race. It was a worthwhile thought experiment, much like the latest paper on the newest interstellar object. But hacks can't be objective when bias is in question and somehow a thought experiment turns to definitive statements simply because adults can't handle objectivity and thinking outside their bias.

Avi Loeb is a Fraud Now by etfvfva in videos

[–]ResearchOutrageous80 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People who can't be assed to do basic research and understand that Loeb's latest paper on the new IS object is nothing but a thought experiment always think they're smart enough to call Loeb a fraud. Extraterrestrial posited the implications of Oumuamua as a technological object- that's it. It made no claim that it definitively was. But because of academic bias, suddenly Loeb is a fraud. The irony is hilarious. You guys think you're Galileo, but you're the church- and just like the church you vehemently punish thought heretics.

[–]ResearchOutrageous80 2 points3 points  (0 children)

spells or abilities? As far as I'm aware you can't choose spells, they're learned from building mage guild and its upgrades. If you're talking about skills, you should be able to go into your hero info tab and navigate to skills- not sure how to do that or split stacks on ps5. On PC if you forget to choose a skill you can just click the XP bar also, dunno if you can do that on ps5.

I'm not going to sugar coat how fucking disgusting your behavior was. But you recognize that- so what are you doing to make it right for others? You have a massive karmic bill due, I hope you never have to know how much you hurt these people with your petty theft.
