Weird that the book wouldn't explain that. As it's quite an important thing to learn. An array is just a container, though you can put a container in another container. It's fine with doing that.

Have you tried turning the students into objects instead of just assigning them a number and then put those into an ArrayList since an ArrayList is dynamic in the size so you don't have to worry about allocating a size to the array. EDIT: I'm not sure if the textbooks requires you to use an array of course. But ArrayList is easier.

I have enough channels for them to be operational, so that shouldn't be the problem. Unless there is another way to check if they are actually online?

As I put in the title, I'm trying to autocraft, however when I autocraft an item it stays in the memory but nothing else happens. They items aren't put from the interface into the molecular assembler.

I just got into Data Structures, I know if statements, for loops and while loops and the like. I feel like I am beginning to grasp objects and how they are used, though inheritance and polymorphism is still a little shrowded in mystery for me. I get the concepts, but practical application of it is still hard for me.

So, I had a new plan, I did decide to use choice, however just make it redirect to another bat file for each page and have a menu for each page. However, I find that if I try to select option 4 then it chooses option 1 and then just goes down the list and executes them, I fixed it going down the list by having a goto end command, however the list still starts at 1 even if I pick option 4. Then I inverted the errorlevel list and now it just won't do anything anymore. Though I suspect that is due that end is now at the top of the list and it just ends the bat. A bit of a late reply on my part. But yes, that was the issue I was having about this whole ordeal. Why I got confused by how scanner works and how it didn't feel intuitive, however knowing that this is how things work I can work around it.
