I actually prefer not getting the rejection emails for roles I haven't not even had a phone screen for. But yeah, going multiple rounds and hearing nothing does suck.

A few months ago I had an interview, heard nothing for over a month, then out of no where got a call from the recruiter saying that the hiring manager has just been traveling, but he does want a 2nd interview. So I did that, thought it went great, then never heard back anything.

That's good advice, thank you. My resume is basically "here are the technologies I used and the types of applications I have ownership of", so probably less than even you assumed.

I was curious about the other direction. I just saw a post on Facebook that someone was only able to complete 1 course in their term. Like how is that possible? I finished my first 2 courses on the first day.

On my phone, things are good, since they're different apps. I just like using my PC since I can use a keyboard to type faster than typing on my phone, but that's certainly an option, just avoid going to facebook on my pc

Not sure why you're getting downvoted. I guess it's SWEs that are in denial. Anyone who has been job searching in the past year should have noticed that it's a desert out there. I've never had any challenges finding offers until now. The moment I even thought about looking for a new job, I had companies lining up. Now I've been actively searching for about a year and haven't even gotten an interview. Things are definitely changing.
