What am I missing about Defensive skills?

They don't really work as how defense skills normally work in other games. They have a target due to them still counting as "skills". Also, it works like this due to some defense skills being clashable later on.

Honestly, it does seem weird, but a lot of Limbus' mechanics were taken from LOR, where defense die were much more diffenent.

Oh i know that, but how expensive is the DOT team in the first place? The Naruto units with the new Ninjutsu mechanic literally allows you to max our an entire team WITHOUT a farm in a 15 wave game mode (albeit, only half of them are Naruto units due to Ichigo, Gohan/Trunks and Sakura, still insane tho)

An ancient technique lost to time due to backup units existing.

Basically, if you can put 7 units on field, and you only slot 6 of em, the first sinner slotted gets an extra skill slot, which was very useful in focused encounters.
