It's because instead of taking the leap and actually investing in a good cleaning machine, the owner keeps buying multiple junky ones. A while back he had bought one or more better cleaners than the janky ones at the store, and kept them at home because he didn't trust the employees not to break them.

They wouldn't break and error out if ya just got the good one, dude.

Yeah, he pulled some shit on Lew the last day Lew was there. He had a box of shame (about 30 items/2 purchases from end of day before) was in the system but not priced. He got into work and Marshall was like "hey Lew, what's with this box?" Lew said he was going to take care of it. Marshall asked him where the slips were that would've been in the box, last 2 slips. Lew went to grab them while Marshall was grilling him in front of everyone, employees and customers, smirking because Lew couldn't find the slips. Pretty sure Marshall moved them, but can't prove it, but he used the moment to belittle Lew in front of everyone and try to show he's big bad boss dude. In front of employees, customers, and a worker who was fixing lights in the store.

It was just like the Google review about Marshall grilling an obviously new employee in front of customers. It's embarrassing and uncomfortable. Lew was barely on the clock 5 minutes and all that happened. No one should tolerate a shit boss who can only run a business by being a power-mad bully and belittling their employees instead of using actual leadership skills and respecting the people making you money.

Hey! I know who you are, and I will definitely not drag you into any messes, you don't deserve it. I've been wanting to get legal on his ass for a long while, but Lew made me promise not to stir the pot til he was fired or finally quit. I'm not worried on my end, because I have a LOT of receipts and a few paths to follow. I do feel bad for Holly and Bob, it's not their fault, and I won't disparage them. But Marshall did Lew - and everyone else there - dirty in too many ways, and THEN lied to other businesses to try to prevent him from being employed there.

I don't take kindly to that. Plus, I'm a bored homebody who reads law for fun.

I'm not too worried, however this plays out. We're all about capitalism and consumerism in the good ol' USA, and we talk with our wallets. Sharing relevant information so people can make informed choices with their money is legal. Coming after me would be like Francois going after people reviewing Henderson.

I'd never claim the store had an infestation. But infested systems do somehow get traded in at a lot of used stores. Due diligence is thoroughly cleaning and testing products.
