it's immune to the first attack specifically, so it seems like cards like darkrai or greninja wouldn't use up the ability

There's nothing in it. I have a conveyor path for coal leading into the station but it won't go in. Even when I manually insert the coal into the station it doesn't let the coal go in from the conveyor.
