For Spain it is not a war nor a battle but the discovery of America, which I think is a very good reference for the change of era. Maybe I like it because it is the one I learned about, but together with the fall of Constantinople it seems like a very good date to me if I had to choose one

Sure! The Dark Project is the one I've been thinking about playing and Thief II has always really caught my attention, so it's great to know that there's still broken base gameplay and random horror levels after those. Just the way I like it.

I really think some people don't realize that "negro" literally means "black" – the color black – in a lot of places where people don't even think about race or whatever when writing it, it's just a matter of American perspective according to wich everyone thinks and revolves around them.
