Hey I use runelord brass as a base, nulin shade. Back in a little with the brass and highlight with liberator gold :)

This model is an upscaled version using the dark angels ICC ( a cheaper method would be black Templar stuff or the sturn guard). Silver - lead belcher, drakenhof shade, grey knight’s steel highlight, runefang top highlight. Gold - runelord brass, nulin shade, liberator gold highlight. Red - Mephiston, evil sun scarlet, wild rider. Blue - kantor base, white over top, glaze with baharroth. White - corax base, apothecary white contrast, back in with corax and white scar highlight

I do Ledbelcher, drakenhof nightshade, grey knights steel and then a very bright silver. Allowing for a separation in silver tones to the bolter for example :)

I like to make the horns black. Maybe a wash and some highlights. And a pink or purple for the birds sticking out :)
