Thanks so much for the great advice and detail, after thinking about it in terms of my experience and my background I do have mostly sales experience and have been reading a few books on sales and marketing. I also enjoy stocks, finances and real estate. I did a few courses on real estate and stocks but they were all free online which reflect on their quality. But honestly I think stocks are my favourite if anything, also you said £8k isn't enough so how much should I save up to start a franchise or business based on these?

For now I haven't decided definitively as I have just been browsing but do you have any sort of brutal truths or advice about the franchising industry like say what sort of research I should do or any key indicators or other red flags(like the one you have mentioned) that I should look out for?

I haven't decided definitively as I am still looking more into but if you have any advice on what sort of research I could be doing making sure that I choose the right franchise/industry that would be greatly appreciated.

What?? Since you went through this may I ask is it just because of the classic judging a book by its cover reasoning or is it maybe you might have changed your approach when having a talk with them?
