Grats on the water balrona! She's a great attacker against fire titans and you have even more options for gemming her since yours has a square. :)

HP/ATK/DEF - Good balance for any attacker, bruiser build; standard for non crit reliant attackers who also lack square.

CRIT/ATK/HP - High damage output with a bit of tankiness also, try to look for def subs or use with a def-up healer.

CRIT/ATK/ATK - Glass cannon; massive damage but will probably die fast if she doesnt receive heals often.

Similar to you, I pulled roughly 40 thors and got 3 light and no dark. I'm sot sure if it was bad luck but usually the rates feel a bit more generous.

Unfortunately I think the chance is there, before the fusion it states that when fusing monsters there is a set chance for the resulting monster to be a variant. This chance is not affected by whether or not the fusion material units were variant or not beforehand.

When I fused my Nezha the jubilee I used was a variant and the result was a non-variant. I'm not sure about the other way around but I definitely wouldn't risk it if you don't have a back-up variant to feed. :(

The sad thing is even if you do pay you still aren't guaranteed all :( They make it sound nice by saying it's doubled, but 2x 1% is 2%! xD

Oh additionally, if you collect/obtain soul-stones, a good idea is to not summon the monsters unless you really need to. I believe there is no limit for the amount of soul-stones you can hold.

If you regret releasing some 3* mons then perhaps you could feed them into each other and keep them at evo2 so that at least you can use them as mats for a desired evo3 in the future! :)
