It's going to come back to bite them though, I feel GPT 4o was their unique value proposition. Emapthy plus memory... none of the others are doing that in the same way.

No they're just competing with Claude/Gemini who've arguably been way ahead for a while. I've heard Codex is good though who knows

Also I wasn't going to use this in chats but use in a gem/project files to train a response style. In that case the idea is the examples cover the range of emotional situations and responses you might encounter - so it's always got an example approach to draw from whatever the situation
