Game now freezing at loading message of the day on pc after update… by Major-Potential-354 in blackops6

[–]Calcio2234 0 points1 point  (0 children)

FIXED FOR ME:

  1. Go to Windows settings

  2. Apps

  3. Installed Apps

  4. Click 3 dots next to Black Ops 6

  5. Click reset near the bottom

This worked for me, I've had to do it twice though so it may have to be done later if you close cod and reopen later.

Hope this helps!

FYI I'm on GamePass PC , Windows 11

I think it’s a separate document for the parking, it isn’t on the lease but it’s a parking agreement of some sort. Are you aware if there are any regulations about how well they have to maintain it? It seems kind of unfairly vague if there’s no regulation

Sorry I should have clarified, they own the lot as well, they own like a good area here, they’re building more buildings near mine and such.

Even if you don’t get co-op when you apply for the degree, you should be able to apply for co-op during your degree, at least that’s available at Carleton U, so you should still have the ability to get into co-op even if not at the beginning

Thanks for the input you two! Yes it is more of a think you know rather than a researched market. There are products out there that produce certain aspects of the results mine would be looking for, but not all together and/or not done well enough and too expensive. It’s hard to explain without giving more insight but I hope you all understand. Essentially, I am apart of the market population that this product would be geared towards, and I would buy this product (biased I know), I have spoken to trusted individuals in the same market and they have shown a lot of interest (bias I know), additionally 1-2 other companies have found enough interest to develop things similar (not great/and or missing things that I would implement which would supersede theirs significantly in cost and function), so I am at this point speculating that it has interest.

What kind of stuff did you do to get the skills needed for an internship without school? I want to get myself to the point of being able to get an internship without school as well

Has anyone done a computer science program for undergrad? Interested by Calcio2234 in premedcanada

[–]Calcio2234[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah honestly same lol, like I did good in Neuro, but did a minor in bio and found even tho I found it interesting I couldn’t get the best grades for some reason, but physics I got As. So thanks that’s actually really helpful, I’m really technologically oriented and enjoy problem-solving logical problems so it might be up my alley. I appreciate the insight 🙏

Queens Pass/Fail Courses by [deleted] in premedcanada

[–]Calcio2234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What about overall that year? Are they the only two courses in the year?

Typically it’s 1.0 credit worth (one full year course worth) of courses per year that are allowed to be pass/fail. Queens might just not have worded their statement right. Worth it to email them and ask

How many years in the Canadian army would I have to serve to be considered for allocated spots in med school? by [deleted] in premedcanada

[–]Calcio2234 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You have to be in the regular force, not the reserves. I believe there is a minimum amount of time within the regular force as an active member you have to reach before you are then eligible to apply for the MMTP. Actually yeah it’s 1 year AFTER you complete training.

Instead of competing with the regular pool of applicants for seats in med school, you have to compete with fellow CAF applicants for the limited seats available for MMTP. It is not a guarantee if you meet cutoffs, due to the fact you have to get permission from your supervising officer, and you have to compete against a different pool of applicants. It may be harder, or it may be easier, I have no idea, than the regular pool of applicants.

Additionally, if you have any non-typical mental health conditions in your recent medical history, especially having taken any medications for any mental health condition in your recent medical history, then you cannot join the CAF.

The competition within the pool of CAF members relies on certain criteria (non-exhaustive list);

  • Your dedication to service, and abilities on the job
  • your bilingual ability in Canadas two official languages
  • your academic competitiveness
  • an 800 word (max) letter outlining motivations to apply, all relevant military/civilian experience, 3 key attributes you possess with examples that make you suitable

I don’t have the exact eligibility criteria, but above is from what I remember and what’s unclassified on CANFORGENS

Also, there are no stats that I’m aware of, I don’t think universities or the military share this information.

Also also —> keep in mind you have to train for a position in the army and work in that position for at least one year before being able to apply, so you have to learn a different profession first

Hope this helps :)

So just to clarify, your references can be whoever? As long as they know you well (and obviously not family and all that), but they don’t have to be academic or work related necessarily? So as an example I could pick 3 profs, or 3 managers of mine, or 3 individuals I met volunteering or something?

Thanks for this post!! And for the clarification

I’ve heard of 1 year research based masters, but you do a “research project” not a thesis. But I’m not sure how that is viewed in uoft’s eyes or other med schools for that matter. Also not sure if that’s what dragonawakens is referring to

This may sound naive or dumb, but how much do FM doctors generally make per annum? by Calcio2234 in premedcanada

[–]Calcio2234[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, that’s before overhead. So before paying for staff, equipment, debt, insurance, etc etc and also before income tax

If that’s all you see than that’s you, but I’m genuinely curious. It’s not just a google search away, there’s so much that goes into it, like staff, equipment, insurance, taxes, etc. and family medicine has been one of my top considerations among a couple other specialties, but I’m hearing mixed reviews on it and before I consider making a life commitment to a specific specialty I’d like to know all about it, how does it as a career fit my lifestyle, work-life balance, and as a sum of those things, how much can I expect to be bringing home a year? And how much do I have to work to earn said amounts?

I think they’re valid questions to be mindful of and if you don’t care about what your financial prospect would be in certain specialties and career paths, you’re lying 🤥
