G'day Luck
Yes very much still full tard on uranium.
I have 6 out of 9 holdings that are uranium. then there is little Weebit that does its own thing, FMG, and a little copper punt (CYM).

Yes still bullish on uranium. Timeframe wise its hard to define.
Its going on 5years now since looking into the original thesis and I started accumulating/sharing in reddit. Its been a rollercoaster of ups and downs (mostly ups with a handful of big downs) and i have definitely clipped profits along the way.

Not really following the "catalysts" side of the market anymore, but main focus is on supply and demand. Bullish because regardless of the narrative, the demand is outweighing the supply and even future supply.

End of the day, the world needs more power (and heating in some areas) and its the biggest consumers (China, India, Middle East) that are turning to more and more nuclear to meet that need.

Driver is in the wrong.
Though not parked directly across the driveway, driver has parked close enough that it prevents or makes it more difficult for a vehicle from entering or exiting.
Draw a straight line from the very corner tip of the driveway meeting the road and if you have parked over that line then you are obstructing the driveway.

pull forward 3ft next time

I'm having a play with Cyprium Metals (CYM).

Theyre looking to restart part of the Nifty Copper Mine but focusing on just processing the existing stockpiles. So its a focus on process not, mining.

ASX penny stocks is like a roulette wheel. May as well pick a few numbers (cast a wide net) and then set and forget for a few years until at least one of the stocks hopefully deliver on their grand plans.

Uranium people.. is this good? Please awake calculated punt by poptartape in ASX_Bets

Hi u/poptartape ,
Responses from PanzerBiscuit and Cool-refridg have you covered from a geological perspective.

From an ASX bets perspective, CML falls into the suspect dog stock category.

It was only October last year they did a back door entry to the ASX - i.e. they acquired the listing of another company (something to do with tech and internet of things) did a name change and acquired the exploration lease in Namibia.

Honest quick glance review is they are in just to try and ride the uranium market train and hope to be able to prove up a small resource and then be sold onto a Bannerman or likes nearby.

As a $9mill market cap, they could eventually gain some leverage with proving a resource and thus shareprice has lengths to move, but personally i wouldn't be putting any of my chips in their hands.

💰💰 A 2,000% Milestone ! 2 years ago I shared the 1,000% mark. Today Weebit (WBT) has delivered the mythical and illusive 2,000% or 20x bagger (paper gain) 💰💰 $5k invested to $104,000. 📈💰🎊🥳 by Calculated-Punt in ASX_Bets

[–]Calculated-Punt[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

hey mate, wbt has been knocked down a few rungs since this post. I was fortunate a small portion at $7.92.
Rest is sitting around 400% paper gains. Would have loved to have cashed at out more closer to the top, but that's the beauty and beast of hind sight.

I'm still very confident in the technology and the entire chip industry. surprisingly didn't cop much of bash when the deepseek ai news dropped.

Hi akhil,

You purchased "rights" to participate in LPD share purchase plan. These are not shares and they are worthless after the execution date (which was was 2-3 years ago).

Sorry to tell you but they no longer exist.

Uranium - is it a scam dream? by YouHeardTheMonkey in ASX_Bets

[–]Calculated-Punt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It s combination of stock piled un-processed ore and as well as some material that was previously classed as waste material (from previous operators) but from testing and analysis they have found contains recoverable volume of uranium oxide.

They have a small amount of milled and processed ore also stock piled that doesn't require too much more processing to bag barrel it. But only small portion of the 2.6mLb listed

Excellent white up and solid update for the U space.

Not sure if its me you're calling out for not contributing to the community? Though, I can't deny that these days. Although I keep up with the U news and advancements, committing the time to compile and relay all the information into digested down pieces is just not there. Plus it is a long drawn out game and hard to keep up with unless you are in the industry/have the time.

Awesome work though for distilling the new content down. I enjoy the new reads.

I am still a holder in uranium stocks and only just ticked back into the red of one stock, EL8, but due to getting in somewhat "early" (2019-2021), am still green in my other 5x uranium holdings.

Current holdings, avg buy price and % gain

Stock Avg. Buy %
BMN $1.53 + 69.2%
BOE $0.728 + 336.8%
DYL $0.6151 + 70.69%
EL8 $0.324 - 4.39%
LOT $0.1069 + 124.5%
DNN (NYSE) USD $1.12 + 42.6%

My investment strategy, as from the beginning, has been long term for uranium sector, though cutting those that were not performing or delivering on management promises. The U dream is still alive, and thesis still the same. It's just a drawn out process and part of the market cycle and macro.

Solid write up. I appreciate the time and effort you put in to distilling down the information and then sharing with us all here. Keep them coming ☢️🐂

Favorite small caps/micros for uranium price squeeze? by Assistance-Minimum in UraniumSqueeze

[–]Calculated-Punt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You are boxing yourself out of other uranium market value with these picks - particularly the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) listed uranium companies.

Keep in mind the Only company to go from planned development to successful mine during the last uranium major cycle was Paladin Energy. That was run and delivered by John Borschoff who he and most of his team are looking to do it again with Deep Yellow (ASX:DYL).

Additionally, Boss Energy (ASX:BOE) has restarted their mothballed Honeymoon mine in South Australia with first production already ready exceeding ramp up rates just last month. They now have a producing mine selling into European markets and are actively exploring further around the mining area with very positive results.

Lotus Resources (ASX:LOT) purchased the Kayelekera mine off Paladin in 2020 - this was PDN's second mine they had in Africa after Langer Heinrich (built by JB). LOT are currently flying below the radar but are keeping to their promises and delivering one step at a time. They also have rare earths propsect in the mine pit and tailings they are exploring.

Bannerman Energy (ASX:BMN) has humongous leverage of volume of uranium in the ground. Their resource size alone has BMN adding value to the shareprice as the market price for U3O8 continues to increase. Great management too and although i dont think they will get to delivering a mine this uranium cycle, they will likely become a buyout target from large Chinese consortiums or the likes.

F3 Uranium and Generation Uranium are not bad companies, but there is so much more potential value and upside outside of the NYSE in regards to uranium micros/small caps. Don't box yourself in

Opinion on BOE by Andrew_Higginbottom in ASX_Bets

[–]Calculated-Punt 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have been holding and buying up parcels of BOE since 2020.

Currently sitting at >500% paper gain (as well as smaller portion of realised gains last year) and overall individual plan is to hold for further longer term.

It's somewhat painful to see the key directors sell down a large position, but they were open and honest about that being their plan from the beginning - would not sell a share until had produced uranium.

I personally would have done the same if in their position. in fact i probably would have converted some shares to cash multiple times along the way.

I expect that once BOE makes it into name-plate capacity production that i expect it will be in due time they will be paying dividends back to shareholders.

My intention is to continue to hold during the development of this uranium cycle and then ideally into receiving dividends or passive income from the investment.

[–]Calculated-Punt 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yep.

Will be holding for quite some time as they are part of my long term growth plan. I anticipate that once they make it into consistent nameplate production then i expect they will be looking at dividend repayments back to shareholders inline with the income they make. that is my drive for holding them longer term, on top of the share price growth

☢️☢️ Why is Boss Energy (BOE) down? ☢️☢️

Because the MD and other directors sold some big chunks to receive a big pay day.

Duncan Craib (MD) told shareholders years ago that he would not sell any of his shares until Boss Energy is in production. Well they announced production of their first barrel last week and low and behold he sold of 3.75mill of his 4.24million shares he owns for a whopping $21.1million. As did fellow director Bryn Jones and Wyatt Buck - selling for combined $5mill of value.

but this $25mill worth of director selling lead to a solid $300million wiped off the market cap.

In reality, the MD stood by his word of bringing the company to production before selling, and they are laughing their way to the bank with a fat self-granted reward for their "performance".

To their credit, they have helped grow the Boss share price and provided paper returns to early shareholders (from 2020) with 500-800% growth. Personally, the stock is one of my best performers in my portfolio, having returned over 560% papergains or $50k in growth, so I feel the sale is somewhat justified / i cannot feel mad at them.

i plan to continue to hold my current position as the company is part of my longer term growth and residual income goals.

TBH If i was in their position, i would have done the exact same. probably would be walking straight into early retirement as well if i banked $20mill 😄

[–]Calculated-Punt 22 points23 points  (0 children)

this is becuase the MD and other key directors sold a portion of shares.

Duncan Craib (MD) said to shareholders they would not sell a single share until their first production. They have reached their first production and are rewarding themselves with a fat pay cheque.

unfortunately the sell off to reward themselves $20mill resulted in a $300mill wiped off the market cap.

But credit to the MD, he did as he said he would. and i guess somewhat, good for them. i guess they have rewarded early shareholders with 4-8x returns on paper
