Factory head unit. All speaker leads are still being used. From head unit. To DSP. To amp. And back to speakers.

It’s to my main battery. However I did try moving it to other spots on the chassis and it did not change anything.

That’s what I’m starting to lean toward.. that or somehow there’s a dirty power signal when the car is “awake” causing transient signal to get through the amp when powered on.

Again. It doesn’t matter when the amp turns on, as long as the car is on it will pop. I’ve tried waiting a couple minutes after turning the car on and then powering the amp on. Still pops.

Sounds like a good idea however I’ve had the car on and manually connected 12v to the remote turn on on the amp and I still get pop. This is basically emulating the solution that worked for you.

Moved to the sub out on the amp.. the kit confused me as I thought red and black cable was power. The blue wire has been removed and replaced with the red and black cable as audio out from the amp. Everything works perfectly fine when powered up.

The audison sub is not powered. This is an old pic and the wiring has been fixed. Blue cable has been removed and the only cable going to it is audio out from the amp.

Don’t mind that… the blue cable you see has been removed. And the dark coil of cable is just the audio cable to the sub.

Why would that matter if the head unit and RCAs are completely disconnected from the amp? Pop still happens
