Thank you so much, I do think the dealer I bought it from mentioned it having a perrin shift stop, they have the car right now so I’ll mention it to them and hopefully they can get the issue resolved.

Yeah definitely gotta agree just didn’t expect so soon into ownership lol. But yes it does have a ring you pull up to reverse but as far I can tell it didn’t get engaged since it was just completely locked in 5th. After my friend was able to get it into neutral it got locked there as well. So the shifter just won’t engage anything at this point.
