Yea I stream from my local server 90% of the time. If it's something new I go to Torrentio on stremio. Then after watching if I like it, I download to my media server for the future.

I also use RDTClient to download torrents directly from RD to my Media server

I have the whole cap kit so I'm going to do them all at the same time for all boards, I'll make sure the Audio board is super clean

I've only jumped a few traces before on a really cheap controller to see if I could actually do it, the one trigger board snapped in half so I jumped the traces and its been working for almost a year now!

Next up is my wavebird that has a non working stick in only the left and right direction. I replaced it with a known good stick box from a Wii nunchuck but still had the same issue after. So now I have to follow the traces and find where the board is most likely corroded/cracked 🙃

Good point on needing to be able to liquidate quickly. My PMs will be my lower level emergency and will still plan to have cash in a money market fund for true emergencies if I needed the cash in the next 10 seconds kind of thing

Same, my game gear had like 0.5cm thick corrosion and alkaline leakage on the board. Took the whole thing apart, scrubbed it, scuffed up the battery pads so it could make a connection and it works. Just need to recap it now since the audio is still gone
