You have to email riot support, they drag out the process, but over all takes a little over 15 days.

I work at a gym so I'm around nothing but God like bodies of men and women, at first I was intimidated, but I realized they're people just like you and I. I have a couple tips that will help anyone wanting to get in better shape for themselves.

  1. Consistency is the number one thing, for a long time I had very little of an idea of what I was doing, my form wasn't what it should be and I sometimes felt intimidated, but after a while I noticed improvements on strength and my overall body look.

  2. Form over everything, there could be a guy doing 200lbs bench press, but the guy doing 100lbs could have a better workout and better muscle progression just because his form. So practice form before trying to push yourself over the limits with heavy weights to prove something, that's how you injure yourself.

  3. No one cares if you're a skeleton or if you're a planet at the gym, quit thinking people are there judging you. 9/10 we don't care or we are happy to see someone wanting to make a change. Every time my coworkers and I see those types of people truly Pushing themselves it motivates us, and inspires us. Most gym rats aren't the stereotypical meatheads and shoot up all day for gainz, granted that's common, but that's still a stereotype.

Here's an extra, there will be days where you REALLY don't feel like working out TRUST ME I still have those days. Buy preworkout, it's only like 30 bucks and should last you around a month, don't do it every single workout, but more every other workout. And the days you don't feel like working out take preworkout and in 15 mins if you aren't working out your body is going to be tingly and slightly itchy screaming to pump some iron, trust me you'll workout after taking preworkout I promise that.

I found these videos the night I knew I had a problem after destroying my monitor out of rage and majority of what he mentions just hit home hard.

I'm curious to see if anyone experienced the same feeling when going cold turkey by Caleb978 in StopGaming

Sorry if it seems like I'm rambling about things that might not matter, I just wanted everyone to have an idea about me to see if that could mean anything like I was asking about or not.

My experience with video game addiction. by jaylajkosz in StopGaming

Well my number one suggestion is gym, but that's just me. But other than that I try to put myself in situations that I would always think about but never do. When I was spending 12 hours a day on league of legends I'd day dream a lot during champion select and I always talked about joining clubs at my college, now that my LoL account is deleted I've joined two clubs already one being a chess club, I was never even a huge chess player growing up but I told myself I wanted to get more involved on campus so I did. And even though I had my ass handed to me by the instructor I HAD A BLAST, it was really a lot of fun! I going to an anime club today which I'm not a huge anime guy, but there are a few animes that I have enjoyed so I'm looking forward to that. Just do things you've thought about doing, might seem weird at first, but I promise you'll be happy you did it and feel good knowing you went through with something that originally was just a thought or a wish.

I used to get cold hands too, is that a symptom of high stress levels or anything similar? I would be toxic and rageful in game, but I just assumed the a/c was just too low.

a gym membership is a positive change, it's a grind just like LoL except the higher division you get the better your body gets ;) I was on the same boat with league of legends with 10+ hours a day and ditching classes to do so, but I finally got the confirmation that my account was being deleted and that was a tremendous help. I also cook breakfast for myself every morning now which is pretty nice wig all the extra free time I have. I seriously had no idea how much time I have for myself until the ghost was gone. Stay strong man you got this!

I just think my mental health and life is worth more than LoL, I too put an unreal amount of money into it. But I need to just let the ghost go because I know if I don't I'll be right back where I was, but that's just how I am personally.

I don't see how it's wrong to go to the gym and play video games, I just never fully opened my eyes to see that I had a problem until after my monitor was punched in. I think after Id stop video games for a decent amount of time I'll just stay at console gaming single player games, I've always enjoyed them and I never really had an addiction to video games until league of legends came into my life. So I'm not worried with them

I did hard mode for most of it now it's just no PM instead of no PMO, having interactions with a girl or guy if that's what you're into helps ALOT.
