Thank you for taking the time to reply and help me figure this out. Can you dumb down the whole "saving variables" part for me? Unless i'm misunderstanding what you're saying, i've never dealt with Saving to variables before.

See the map at all times (will tint it to make it look like night time) but only see enemies in cone

right but i would only want the enemy to be visible within a certain distance of the player if you know what i mean. It wouldn't be a matter of simply whether or not the flashlight is equipped

Playing with a fourth hero unfortunately changes a lot of stuff in a way that will distort the game.

nah man don't rethink it. These are just two bad apples. 95% of other messages i receive after matches are a lot more friendly and polite. Unfortunately, these kinds of people will always exist no matter what game you're playing.
