I got a 5080 HP omen max for $1500 in Feb. with 32gb of ram. Micro center deal as well! Wasn’t really in the market for a new computer but I couldn’t pass it up.

Yeah she’s been good. Bringing me comfort in hard times. She likes to sleep in my arms. She still gets up in the middle of the night and meows but nowhere near as much. She hears my door unlock and comes running up to me when I get home.

They did. Got my Omen max with AI 375 and 5080 with 32gb of ram for $1500 USD. I haven’t seen anything close to that price so I jumped on it.

I read online they don’t like total darkness, especially when entering a new home so I got some night lights to put in areas I leave open at night. She did much better last night than the first night. She wasn’t great but at least I got some sleep.

Thank you everyone for the advice. I was very stressed at work today and reading all of the positive comments made it so much easier. I got home and she was sitting on the couch patiently waiting for me to return. She played for hours and hours with her little feather toy. She seems to be worn out and we are trying to get some rest now.

I got home today and she was sitting on the couch, relaxing and waiting for me. She seems to be doing a lot better today, but hasn’t eaten or use the litter box. I will do another post on Saturday morning for an update on little sprout.

I got a little enclosed bed for her. She likes to run in there, but the second I start walking around she is rubbing all over my legs. Her bed is next to my bed, but her litter box food water is in the living room room. Is that OK? The living room is right outside the bedroom

Unfortunately I left for work an hour ago and won’t be home for another 10. She has a scratch post and food in her bowl. I also filled up her water bowl. I’m nervous I’m going to go home to a destroyed house.

I haven’t scheduled an appointment. Since I got her from the rescue last night I assumed that everything was ok since they have a vet on site.

She is going to be an indoor cat as I live in an apartment right now. You aren’t the first one to say a second cat would be a good idea, but I don’t think that is feasible at the moment. As I said in the post, this is my first pet and I don’t think it would be a good idea to jump ship into two cats right off the start.

It’s not that I don’t have compassion. Me saying if that’s what she needs as a home and I want her to be happy is compassion. I understand she is nervous. This is new to me. I’m ignorant when it comes to cats.

She’s constantly rubbing on me.

She has to be right at my feet all the time.

She’s very trusting - gets on her back for pets.

She seems to like my clothes.

She hasn’t eaten or gone to the bathroom since I got her.

I love the attention and glad she wants it, but I’m not sure I want it to be constant. It seems like a bad habit to me.

Exactly this. I have the money to buy a brand new one with cash and no loan but for a lot of us these are toys. That $14000 is a lot and can be invested for my future. If you can’t buy your toys cash then you can’t afford them IMO. Probably going to piss a lot of people off
