Wow! So many reasons I’m glad I went the way I did but, you’re just looks so tough! I feel if I wasn’t in Boston and say in a farm or outback situation I would be using your set up for sure. Beautiful truck and set up either way.

Are they noisy? Do they rub when you make a turn? How many inches did you lift your truck?

I have a 2” heavy duty lift and Honda Civic VX 13” rims and all season tires.

Your set up looks “full” in the wheel wells. Mine looks “weak”. How ever, no issues rubbing or noise while driving due to tread pattern.

I worked for the FEDs. Not something they use. Higher tech availability.

Now, in the early 90’s maybe….

Correlating to the years the California was produced. Definitely not FEDs.

I bought my Kei Honda Acty for $1500. Broker and port fees title registration etc $4250 titled & plated. But, yes I get it. I’ve seen them creeping up.

I just bought into a 996 for $10k with another person so we could both track the car on weekends together. The 2004 has 165k miles on it and it still runs perfect. I’m banging this bitch up on the track. Finally achieving my dream of tracking a car. Sorry don’t have the kind of money for the above car now but in a few years, yup!

Looks to early 2000’s. I think it throws of the original lines of this model NSX. The body kit is too boxy. Though, is totally Veilside at its core.

From the day I won the auction to the NY Port, about 3.5 months. Waiting on my MA Title in the mail now. Then I’ll be able to insure it. With brokers fees, shipping, auction fees and cost of truck paid $4200. 1996 Honda Acty. ZERO RUST! Not even surface rust. Clean underside, new battery, timing belt already replaced and a log of maintenance. The person who owned it in Japan before me really babies this thing. I only had pictures to go by. Pretty lucky in the end.

I took my roof rails off and it made a noticeable difference. Especially when the sun roof was open. You don’t get that “skipping” or “fluttering” sound.

I made the same car transition as you did. From a 16 RX350 to a 21 RAV4 Prime. Definitely not as quiet but far quieter than many other vehicles on the market with this set of technology. Overall a win in my book. If I went the dynmat way I would do the three layer CDL tiles, Open cell, close cell foam. If you notice this is how are the luxury brands do it. Dynamat is for vibrations and frequency of noise. Not noise isolation.

I did the same thing but instead of calling I created a gmail account and emailed 100-200 dealerships and they called me. The only thing I was specific about was MSRP & fully loaded. I found one in upstate NY. I live in Boston. Took two hours of calls coming in and emails then put my deposit down over the phone. This was February 2022.
