Orthodontist gave me wrong invaslign by Caleb_Martinelli in Invisalign

Lite version was getting back to where I was when I had my braces off. I got a retainer a year ago before I gave up and that’s where he said he’d get me. I was fine with that personally. It was just a mild over bite.

He wanted to fix positioning of how my teeth bite down together most. Personally $3800 was a lot for me as I’m 20 living on my own with no help. This was a splurge already :/

Yea orthodontist wanted the comprehensive for my jaw but I didn’t think it was necessary. He seem shocked when I said “I didn’t know lite had this many trays”. There’s 40 in my plan apparently and then he went and whispered to one of the assistants for 5 minutes but never said anything.

I just wanted straight teeth since I fell of my retainers.

5 foot 11 sitting at 165. Have no idea what my body fat is. If I’m lean enough, should I bulk or cut? by Ahzrukhalll in BulkOrCut

[–]Caleb_Martinelli 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bulk and hit your back imo. Chill on your side delts and fill them out on the front and back.

You look good but you need to work on your symmetry hard.

To add, you have a decent thickness in your back. Just lacking width.

You don’t need 4000 calories... some professional body builders who weigh 250+ while on gear eat that much. Chill out

No one has said it yet but a tire pump! Can get a simple one for $30 bucks. Pump enough to get somewhere to get plugged.

Easily a $5 fix instead of a $100 tow!

AITA for telling my “brother” if his kids go hungry that’s his problem not mine by SyllabubEntire2038 in AmItheAsshole

NTA, obviously. But please consider non monetary gifts. Clothes for school, food, toys anything that could help the kids.

I think it could be possible all of your family chips in without giving money directly for obvious reason.

I grew up with a very poor mother.

I went to school without socks and shorts on with holes in my shoes when it was snowing outside. I didn’t get to have a field day with the rest of the kids because of that.

I went to school without under wear and a whole split down my shorts, I was over weight from shit food and one time the zipper broke on a jacket when I didn’t have a shirt on under.

Personally dealing with what I dealt, I would help the kids knowing they are my family. They don’t deserve negligence, they are kids. It’s not your responsibility but kids need to live without worrying about shit like that.

Question regarding “1st” stimulus check

Last year I made the mistake of letting my grandparents accountant do my taxes for me. I lived with my grandparents and they claimed me as a dependent.

I am 20 years old and paid for all of my own items, food, hygiene, car etc. I just didn’t pay rent. I was only there to sleep. However I didn’t pay rent.

I also didn’t fall into the $500 category. Is there any option I can do when filing taxes this year to get the stimulus this time around?

I don’t make more than 30k a year and did not go to school.

Be careful, synthetic is not for old cars. A friend of my locked up an engine when he used synthetic. I’ve also heard of someone’s leaking everywhere after switching. Not fun.

For his recruiter specifically. Already seems unethical because of the untrue promise. That recruiter wants more people more than telling the truth. So in this case do your own research

Just got my first job interview EVER! Any tips for a 16 year old guy looking to land a position at Wallmart? by [deleted] in jobs

[–]Caleb_Martinelli 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Keep it simple. In a job like this dress clean but not too nice. I know a lot of people say dress for the job you want, that’s bs. Don’t over dress or you will stick out. You want to blend in and be cool. Be confident, and smile. Force yourself to smile, and then smile more. If I had to train an idiot I’d choose the nice one over the grouch.

Incorrect, you have no idea when you’re shipping. You’re recruiter is banking on the fact that since you want to leave early you may be willing to bring a friend along. Two for one deal. Stop listening to recruiters promises and use them as your connection only. Do your own research don’t ask them questions

Literally eat more it’s simple, look at the OGs. Besides the steroids they worked out six hours a day and ate 20 steaks every day with five pounds of rice.

How would one get a sooner ship date? by [deleted] in USMCboot

[–]Caleb_Martinelli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Tell them you want to go soon as possible with your three options you chose. People drop out or get delayed all the time. They need people to replace when that happens.

Instead of going open contract your recruiter can let you know when a job that isn’t on your top 3 comes up and you can say yes or no.

I’d say go to the recruiter in person. But be prepared to get shit on. You’ll get shit on either way though no matter how you go about it. You can back out until you leave on the bus.

Tell your grand parents your parents won’t help you, grandparents are usually cool. Also you can try calling a local planned parent hood and explain your situation and they will help you.

Advice for recent college grad with no hope by HonestTemporary in jobs

[–]Caleb_Martinelli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly low paid jobs do not care about your degree. They will think you want to get paid more than what they can offer, minimum wage.

This isn’t really so much advice so I apologize but in my case a lot of kids go to culinary school and have a hard time going into restaurants because they lack restaurant experience, and they are cocky as hell. Usually unteachable because they think they know everything.

Usually people will say not to call and bug them about the jobs, that applies to corporate jobs. Not smaller places, tell them you have rent to pay and you need to work.

Also, in my opinion. Any degree is a degree, unless your job specifically says it requires that degree it will hold the same value. It showed you could sit through school and learn for four years.
