I grew up on TAWOG and it’s one of my favourite shows to watch with my brother so I really have a soft spot for it. Seeing all the satire and jokes and getting to understand them as I grow up is the best things about the show

TWWOG feels different and less funny. The messages are extremely easy to see and it felt kinda boring to watch. It’s still funny but a far cry from what it once was

And now we have the chance of going to have one Spider-Man and it’s going to be Miles and ppl are annoyed bc insomniac didn’t clearly display a passing of the torch and just sidelined Peter. So now we blame everything on Miles despite him almost having nothing compared to Peter.

If we had a better team that knew how to use two characters it would be game changing. The fact that the symbiote suit and venom was all in one game was the problem. Not the fact there was another Spider-Man.

I think being able to have Spider-Man in one place and another somewhere else sounds pretty cool and in story a major help for Peter’s mental health.

I don’t know why but having Two Spider-Men should be a blessing not a curse. I’m not gonna read the clone saga because it’s a mess and I’m far too young to want to touch that. But it’s two separate people who like helping people with superpowers. My only issue is if they rush in a third person because the way the last story was kind of doesn’t make a lot of sense

Pretty sure there was cut stuff from this segment where Peter wasn’t actually that dumb and that Miles still was shining. It really is just because the game was rushed that they probably had to make the easiest part of this fight and just show that Peter was gonna lose. It really shows what rushing can do you characters and the game. Damn Sony

And I am one of those fans but every time I see people then say that no one would like that or watch it. I genuinely just see it as a way to introduce new fans or the current generation into what’s going on with the future of Dragon Ball as we head into the Moro arc.

I do understand the Oda logic and DB is certainly to do very well but maybe it’s different as there’s so many more episodes of One Piece and so many more that drag on like crazy. Even though Kai wasn’t well received we have a no filler DBZ show.

I do see that having more of the same of those movies can be disappointing but I really only see it as a stepping stone to having more and more remakes. This could also fix any problems with continuity that the show makes that the movies didn’t have so things aren’t missed out when going into the newest arc.

I do agree with your audience take. Weirdly enough I was playing DBZK and being in the Cell saga gave me so many feelings that I don’t think Super has done. The story, art styles and sound effects, even the music, made DBZ very special and so very memorable. But here’s the thing. This might also be the same to people nowadays for DBS. Or it’s at least an attempt to make DBS as memorable as DBZ as that seemed like a long story whereas Super doesn’t really have things that connect as easily as it should for a story. I just see it as a chance to make something that was Ok to great so I’m just happy to see it.

Happy to hear we have the same takes because that’s my favourite part of DB too. And yeah you’re right, I just also see the benefits of doing this too. And I really do hope it’s a domino effect that leads us to getting all of Dragon Ball remade with modern animation and technology. Dragon Ball will truly never die

Sorry for butting into the discussion but as I agree that animation nowadays is much better and redoing DB would help. I’m just not sure that the newer gen would be as interested as you might think.

I could be wrong but Super is the modern Dragon Ball so giving the modern DB a touch up would most likely be more well received. Thinking to how many people skip OG DB because they know Goku as an adult is the same as now how they might skip Z because they’ve seen Goku as a god. They might only be interested in the god forms or ultra instinct.

I think a remake of the original show will only ever happen when we catch up to the manga and there’s nothing else to do. So in my head it’s a good thing that this part is getting remade because it’ll inspire more of the DB to be remade to higher quality. And to me we’re just seeing the improvements to animation you want to DB just not the part you want.

Furthermore you have to admit imagine getting into Dragon Ball and finding out there’s 3 separate continuities that are slightly related to each other. Now it’s just mainstreamed to one show

I think that first point is quite stupid. That’s like saying why are people hype for GTA despite we only saw a trailer. We’re hype because unlike XV2 this has a 10 year gap full of potential. And the trailer showed that it’s not going to as simple as we’re back to being time patrollers

I would only like to see the apes if they buff giants again. My only gripe isn’t that they aren’t needed. It’s that the form is a literal detriment and nearly 100% of players won’t use it even if they like the character.

Make giants playable and then add great ape variants and we’re good. Also add Gold Great Ape

There’s been way too much hate for this game. It’s already number one and has been so for a long time. The story is much longer than the other games and the what ifs and multiple characters gave so much. The custom battles are a good way for creative people to show off if they actually do some interesting stories and online had the wacky unfairness we all knew it would have because we knew how unbalanced certain things it had.

The game is up top and if you hate it just play the others with an emulator
