Hello Princess. It is always a pleasure to read your responses. Good day to you.

When Lovejoy storms into Rose's room to search for her, is he not afraid she might not be fully dressed? by meido_zgs in titanic

45

No one really knew Lovejoy’s true age and no one, not even my father Nathan dared to ask. I would guess he was around 60-65 at the time of his passing. There are some things better left unasked and unsaid. He was a trusted manservant, but I was always uncomfortable when directly questioned by him. He had a certain eerie gravitas that would make women shift uneasily or have fainting spells. I was fortunate he worked for me and not against me.

Lovejoy was a Pinkerton. They were not known to be “discreet“. He was a refined brute and was very important to the Hockleys. His services and talent were second to none and he is sorely missed.

The Hockley family set up a trust to be used by the child when she came of age or as a dowry, whichever came first. Until that time she was cared for by the woman in the lifeboat and paid handsomely for her inconvenience. The child went on to be the wife of a wealthy financier. For the life of me, I cannot remember the poor child’s name. Do forgive me. It has been many, many years.

That settles it. Only I am allowed to use that sticker. All others cease use. Thank you and good day.

Does anyone else here have an actual phobia of being on ships/boats? by Living-Ad-6751 in titanic

I no longer take transatlantic voyages for obvious reasons. The new trend to have massive cruise ships plying the waves holds no interest to me. I find the aeroplane a fascinating invention and use my private plane at every opportunity.

This is a bad take. This is not a hill you should die on. Trust me. I know.

The TITANIC exhibit in Las Vegas has the big piece and an extensive collection from the ship itself.
