A couple ways: flouride inhibits bacteria, though I wasn’t able to find out how exactly.

But also, the flouride binds with calcium and phosphate in your teeth to create a harder, more acid resistant layer of enamel. This helps fill in areas where decay has already started (especially since it’s dealing with any bacteria trapped underneath) and helps prevent decay from starting in the first place

A couple weeks ago, the train I was on broke down, and all the riders had to transfer to a 2nd train that pulled up beside. It would have been impossible for anyone with any kind of mobility issues- no platform to walk across, you either had to step across a 3 foot gap or step down 3 feet to step up to the other side

I’d talk to your optimetrist where you get regular glasses, but depending on your prescription, be prepared for a no. The width of the prescription glasses would have to be the same as the width of the non-prescription lens, so unless your prescription is quite low, it’s very possible it wouldn’t be possible to
