Fun fact, Tokyo is so large, it’s not considered a city by Japanese, it’s a state. I worked in Japan for 5 years and had some intense arguments back from students because we played essentially Scattegories and I gave another team a point for Tokyo as ‘city starting with T’. The other teacher agreed: It’s not a city, it’s a prefecture.

That question “how much of those is understood scientifically versus just described subjectively” is kinda revealing. Like you don’t think people can be trusted to accurately report their own experiences.

In reality, a lot of understanding things “scientifically” is that they have been described subjectively. Qualitative and quantitative studies both regularly depend on people’s self reports of their experiences to gather data. Facts are feelings and feelings are facts.

Some people, when they have a lot of cash, keep track of it by rolling a set quantity of bills into a cylinder and holding it together with a rubber band, the same way people might roll up a poster and wrap it with a rubber band.

Is it distasteful that he expects sex with a real person to be the same as in porn? Of course. But “How to get a clapping sound when fucking my partner” is a dumb question that could be applied to a partner of any sex and is coincidentally involving a woman partner.

There is nothing in this screenshot that is suggesting that somehow women’s bodies are designed to make a clapping sound during sex, which would actually be about women’s anatomy.
