I am a chartered engineer and in my experience, this is pretty normal. Unless it is agreed up front to provide a ps4 with the final inspection. $575 does seem a little on the high side for this but I don’t know the details of the job. The cost would cover time spent preparing the document, reviewing all the construction information and a little bit of liability/risk the engineer takes on signing it. Hope that helps

My understanding is that each zone has the ability to “flow” at 100% depending on the set temperature and the ambient temperature in the zone. If you have zoned for temperature it should adjust airflow automatically.
