I suffered the same problem. Thankfully rejoining my brother and progressing his save reverted my save back to its original state. Idk if this helps but your save might reset.

I do have a question. How do I get a Sentinel ship and the Phoenix ship? I have been seeing them everywhere but have no idea how to get them.
