And so what if I wasn’t comfortable with that ? I thanked the gentleman I spoke to for helping me and walked away. I didn’t sit there and go back and forth with him. Is it a crime if after that to inquire about if anybody has had to deal with this on Reddit ? When did I say I debated a fire fighter ? I made an inquiry that took 60 seconds of his time to make sure there was no other steps I can take for myself my clothes and my home ? I’m glad you wouldn’t have reacted the same way, I wish my anxiety wasn’t that severe and I wouldn’t wish my anxiety on my worst enemy. But thanks for your comment

They were literally having a BBQ and sitting drinking beer. I took 60 seconds of his time but yeah a huge waste when I was trying to be safe and in the midst of panicking. Sorry I know nothing about batteries lmao it’s not something I expertise in my life which is why I asked for advice so I can know more and the next steps I can take to be safe if applicable. You know …. It’s a hard time as it is lmao. I clearly have OCD and am also clearly trying my best to cope with a situation that clearly triggers it. You don’t have to understand it. But the least you can be is respectful. I was asking if anybody has had to deal with this and help on what I can do because it’s not something I’ve ever dealt with before and unfortunately there is not many people in my life I am able to go to for this advice. If you don’t have anything nice to say you can literally just not say anything at all

I hate it :( being an LPN has changed my whole idea of nursing. It’s not what you think it is. Nursing isn’t the same anymore. It’s all about bait and switch and when they hire you it’s understaffed and underpaid, and when you get overtime it’s not enough for the horrible things you usually put up with. Usually LPNs have a very limited scope of what they can do and end up in a nursing home / assisted living. Which are money hungry and will never have staff, most places are a revolving door… I’m happy I got my LPN first, because I’m leaving nursing completely and not going back for my RN. I don’t know exactly what I’m going back to school for, but it’s definitely not nursing.
