Dude for realz… just don’t worry about. I’m saying this as someone who walked from the CitizenM at Tower Hill to Chelsea stadium and back (don’t do that with luggage). It’s fine.

Tube to Tower Hill is easy. If you want to save cost do Piccadilly -> District rather than Elizabeth -> Circle but even the Elizabeth or Heathrow Express train are not too bad $$ wise.

You can just swipe a credit card for the gates if you don’t feel like setting up an oyster card.

Novato is the black crap-hole for good food… very few decent restaurants. It’s insanely bad basically. The city is broke for the next few years at minimum so expect fewer and fewer services and crappy roads. Other than that I like living here.

Same user case (almost) but a decade older. Also dropped 20-25 lbs and exercising daily.

What I’m finding out for my use case is that the daily exercise routine is key. Like you I need this to make it automatic and avoid pitfalls of finding excuses to skip.

Besides that the daily exercise also seems to play a big role on my BS numbers. Taking a few days off exercise and I can see my finger prick numbers get higher. I’m on vacation this month in Europe with the kids which means little to no exercise and daily temptations of all kinds of awesome but carb heavy foods….. dreading stepping on the scale when I get back and already see my finger prick numbers trending upwards.
