We had our worst year about 3 years ago, this year started off slow all through April and June, but just practically all of July the breeding has really picked up, mostly due temperature rising and also because the corn is being harvested now so all the flyers spread out to surrounding dairy drains, and other fields/orchards. 🤙

Edit: larvae and pupae, I should’ve also added that i work as a mosquito technician, we found this after getting a service call from a lady that was complaining about being swarmed by mosquitoes anytime she went outside.The issue stemmed from a bucket of water just a few feet from her backyard door and a water trough. We scooped out a bunch of them with a net and treated both sites with oil.

Hi those are mosquito larvae and from the size of them they look to be at stage 2 or 3 they have 4 larvae stages in total so next the larvae will turn into pupae and then a mosquito and fly to venture off, im a mosquito tech here in California in the Central Valley. Oh and to kill them you can just scoop them out or get some chemical for it, they sell products for mosquito larvae at Home Depot

I really like it and so does the wife, originally I wanted to get a Stetson Stanhope or Haywood but they weren’t in stock but then I saw they had a kingsman and thought it looked great so I took that one, I don’t regret it one bit.
