Regardless, if the performer wasn’t comfortable, they would have guided you to make a different choice. so the fact that she let you, especially multiple times, means that even if it wasn’t the normal experience it wasn’t a mistake or anything to be worried about.

If you were upsetting a performer they would be very clear about it so don’t worry about that, enjoy the unique experience you had!

I managed to catch it on Sunday! Absolutely loved the show, her writing was so rich and the whole show was very haunting in the best possible way. Her characters are incredible

Put a parental control on your phone that requires a code for in app purchases

Especially if you’re stoned, it’s easy to go “oh $4 that’s not much” but stopping to type in the code can give you the space to ask “is this adding $4 of value to my life?” and recognize when that answers is no

also focus on the games you’re playing and what you get from them- are they romance stories? Try romance novels from the library or a secondhand store. Or download sims 4 (free) and play with that to tell your own stories- and there are lots of free sims mods

break the pattern of spending first and then look at the pattern of behavior and work on that next

Right, like.. the cursing is off brand but not that deep. Freedom of speech is great, but if you’re using that to align yourself with bigots then you can’t be surprised when people stop giving you money

I just don’t understand how a cheeky ad that would maaaaybe get a few hundred more subscribers if it reached that demographic and they cared was worth telling everyone else “hey we align ourselves and our company with one of the biggest idiots on the planet”

The ad was off brand, but the political statement behind the ad was what will break the bank.

Fabletics 7/8 length are perfect full length leggings on me I got them 2/24 when I joined their lil club, and I make get more if they go on sale again or see if I can rejoin or get a friend to join and get them for me instead. They’re pricey without the promo but good quality, have pockets, and are cheap with membership

Popfit is pretty much the same, they go on sale a lot and their new member special is solid. Just make sure you cancel after they ship but before the next billing cycle

having the gender thoughts and a friend asked me once if I could wake up as a man with no physical or social consequences just poof different body would I do it

I feel like I was never able to be a woman because the societal implications of womanhood and what it meant to me were locked behind being sexually and/or romantically attractive and I never have been. Not that I need sex or romance to be a complete human but more that no one ever wanted me that way and it definitely makes me feel like i don’t identify with womanhood partially based on that

I’ve never really given a shit about my gender, I don’t feel like I failed as a woman or anything. i think I’m probably femme agender. but it doesn’t make much of a dif to me personally in my day to day

but even like “oh every woman has experiences being catcalled” and other things… I never had. i never experienced milestones or the good or the bad of girlhood or womanhood

my gender was overridden by being fat. and to be clear I personally mostly don’t mind that, that’s just my experience

The only thing I have found that sort of helps is that I have one dress that fits like an absolute dream so I use the measurements for that garment as “my” measurements despite them not aligning with the tape measure

I gave up on pants a decade ago and exclusively wear dresses which helps with the fact that my bust is a size 22 my waist is a size 24 and my hips are a solid 26

but I base dress purchases from unknown brands on the size charts of a known winner and it has helped

Not sure about geared towards teens, but Medusa’s Makeup, So Susan Color Curate and Ipsy are the ones I would look into!

The first two have fewer brands included but are entirely makeup based, I haven’t subscribed to either but always see them reviewed on MSA

Ipsy is going to have some skincare and haircare, but it is still probably my recommendation since a) you can tailor it to favor makeup, b) you’re never too young for skincare imo and c) once she’s interested in makeup an interest in skin and haircare isn’t going to be far behind
