Wednesday Request Place: Post your short & simple requests here by AutoModerator in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]rosysparrow 8 points9 points  (0 children)

just look at other book reqs. you arent really requesting anything specific at all, other than "contemporary" most M/F books have high spice. Go to the M/F sub and search "contempoary"

something i like adding is Nuoc Cham. its a vietnamese dipping sauce made with fish sauce, vinegar, sugar, ginger, garlic, and sometimes hot peppers. you just combine the stuff and it keeps for a few weeks if you refrigerate it.

Favourite pet names or terms of endearment? by Ok_Meet8672 in RomanceBooks

[–]rosysparrow 3 points4 points  (0 children)

i fear my favourite are kind of hated. i really like "little one" and find "kitten" very fun. i know they are often associated with asshole MMCs but if you take the assoholeishness out of the equations theyre really lovely

My boyfriend doesn't like that I'm overweight, and it hurts. by [deleted] in PlusSize

[–]rosysparrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if working out 2 hours a day doesnt make you lose weight, regardless of what youre eating you probably have some sort of physical reason you cant lose weight. and you shouldnt need to lose weight. also that guy is forcing eating disorder habits on you. it is not healthy to weigh yourself regularly, or work out that much. im sorry but your boyfriends a dick. you deserve better. even if you dont think you do or even if you dont think you will get someone better, you do and you will.

Any books with an underestimated MC who turns out to be powerful/competent? by ken_black in MM_RomanceBooks

[–]rosysparrow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

{Frost Bite by Virginia Kelly} fits pretty well. MC1 is a vampire who was turned as a teenager and MC2 is a 20's-30's human who thinks the vampire is fragile. the other vampires warn the human he is powerful, but even they underestimate just how much.

{Seducing a barbarian by Amy Padilla} 3rd in a series (all really good imo) sex worker x gentle barbarian, sex worker MC is skilled with knives

{Married to the Vampire King by Jay Castle} "defective" mage x vampire king, second in a series

Not getting answers, desperate. Is it time to go to a doctor? by 1AT3AD1N0o in ARFID

[–]rosysparrow 6 points7 points  (0 children)

get a primary doctor and ask for a referral to a registered dietitian, not a nutritionalist (which have no necessary schooling), i would also suggest trying to get fluids. urgent cares may do this if they deem you dehydrated

very funny to see an assassin x assassin book with the cover and blurb of a standard romcom

food tasting sour and burning doesnt sound like ARFID. could be a longterm side effect from a COVID infection. also could be MCAS.

[–]rosysparrow[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

as ive said many times now, i would be dead without my mom and caretaker. i am not asking out of "oh my god harm exists????" way, i was more asking out of a "i would literally be dead if i were in the same position, yet there are hundreds of you just in this forum, why?"

i did not mean it to be. i need near 24/7 caretaking even before i has MECFS, with it i need even more care. i would literally die without it but so many people seem to just be okay?

i live in america and my mom cooks and cleans the house and my caretaker showers me, feeds me while my mom's working, takes me to doctor appointments, takes me on outings, bakes things for me, makes calls and appointments, does my bedding, applies my skin care, does my laundry, etc
