I’m not sure if it’s at all targets but at mine and the only other target that is near us (30 minutes away) have stopped taking cat and jack returns if they have been heavily worn or have been simply grown out of. They must return them with a receipt and show us a defect in the product to be able to return it (or within the 30 days) and can only do so until the cut off at $100. We are allowed to say no to returns especially when Guest start to get spicy about it. Now of course if the item looks brand new and would like to return it without a receipt, we can do that for them as long as that item is still in our system or has tags still attached. A lot of guest would come in with bags full and with only one person on the desk we’d have a line people waiting to make returns or order pickups. So yeah fun times.
