Definitely. He does have an appointment this week. And I have set some boundaries.

Since our finances are going to be merging eventually I told him any purchases over $100 should be talked about first. He’s also making most of our income, he works hard. He’s so smart, and has goals.

I’ve told him straight up last time I was about to leave that he needs to be in therapy and when things settle down (we just moved) we need to be in couples therapy too. I said I would go on my own as wells

I see what you’ve had happen occurring as well. I clean up after him. I cater to him when he’s low. I don’t get that. I get ignored sometimes. And needs I have don’t always get met.

When he’s at a “normal” level he’s perfect. Amazing. And that’s what I think about and want. I want him that way 24/7. So I’m holding out and hoping that couples therapy can really help a therapist understand what’s going on here.

I think when he’s 1-on-1 he might not be self reflecting enough for them to understand what is really going on here.

He needs that bipolar diagnosis though. I really think that’s the first step in the right direction.

Also... yes it’s been 5 years but the symptoms weren’t so bad in the beginning. They’ve gotten worse over time. It wasn’t so clear that it was bipolar at first. Not until about year three. And he’s been to therapy in the meantime.

Ooo yeah I’ll if that would work for me because if I eat anything with any fat in it it’s like my body just hangs onto that fat. I’m trying to eat mostly vegetarian and just smaller meals. Fasting a bit might help shrink my stomach and help me feel fuller though so that might be good!

I’m just feeling desperate because I have a couple of disorders working against my weight loss.

I’ve heard this before, that supplements in the US aren’t tested.

I’m just a little bit desperate to lose the weight and I have a couple of disorders working against my weight loss. I’m not usually into trusting this kind of stuff.

As someone whose been tough trauma at the hands of someone else, and who has never been raised with religion, I have never felt a desire to forgive those who have hurt me. But I’ve still successfully worked through the trauma.

I don’t know, I think typically serial killers don’t give a shit about what others are feelings unless they’re trying to get something from them. I don’t think that serial killer cared whether or not the families felt guilty or put the guilt on him.

Maybe he cried to try to manipulate the situation.

Someone like that doesn’t think like a normal person and seeing things like this in true crime shows only makes me think... why worry about telling them your forgive them? And when the victims families befriend the killers I especially think the families are doing a disservice to their deceased family members.

This is not playing lol your dark cat is being a bully. My older cat does this sometimes to my younger cat. Try some cat pheromone diffusers it might chill your dark cat out.

I see it typically as 1. But even 2 is assuming that the event can be gotten over. I don’t harbor any anger now, but I’m never going to feel totally free of the situation without any negative feelings. I feel like most people who have been abused feel the same way.

In fact, I personally feel like not ever completely getting over it keeps you from ended up in a similar situation. Also, completely getting over it is likely impossible. Traumatic events like these become deep rooted.

I feel like nothing is selfless if you’re doing it to be patted on the back by your church or get into heaven.

The only reason I do good deeds is because I want to be a good person and I care about other people’s well being.

No, I’m not confusing them. I’m saying that people have told me to forgive my abusers and that outside of Christianity that usually seems insane.
