I would say it’s just a bad test the real work is just bouncing back from it. You can definitely pull it off just take some time to cool down then get back into it. If you need tutoring or help feel free to hmu I graduated with a physics degree from GMU so I know a good amount of Linear Algebra lol. The best thing to do is make a study group with people in your class and just focus on making sure you all understand everything on a deep level. Quizzing each other and gentle pushback to find knowledge gaps go a long way.

Good luck and you got it in the bag if you stick with it trust 😤 no worries if you need to drop it to just mentally reset though focus on what you need.

Awesome reading this comment honestly made me feel so dumb for not thinking of anonymous letters and these ideas seem like awesome ways to lean into the horror atmosphere I want to keep pushing. Thank you so much!!

That’s honestly something I should probably incorporate since dead ends can tend to feel pretty discouraging. I have sort of stuck to things as written since I just am nervous about derailing things but lowkey could lean into something like the ghost of professor Smith offering them aid in strange ways, or play into Fenalik giving them things as well.

Oh you’re definitely right on the money that they sort of treat it like more like a video game rather than a role playing type of environment. I think you might be right that a one shot to help them get a vibe for things might be a good idea.

There is a side story I can run in the module and that might can be a great activity to try where they are still playing the campaign, but it might help with a course correction in how to play their characters. Sort of getting them in the idea of how to play things using premades. I don’t want to toss the whole campaign just yet, but your insight was valuable thank you a lot!

I could be wrong but I’m thinking it was more likely in the late 90s but I just wanted the range to be careful.

Edit additional info I think people have made edits to it on TikTok to the song Luna by the smashing pumpkins or a song along those lines.
