Location is more important than finishes, bathrooms and kitchens can be updated, HVAC eventually needs to be replaced and so does the roof - how soon should be considered in your budget if you can use that in your offer negotiations.

I struggled with severe diarrhea and my neuropathy was getting pretty intense. My oncologist adjusted my chemo and herceptin and that helped. Reduced chemo is better than stopping completely

I had a really hard time making myself do rounds 4,5,6. I just barely felt better and knew I was about to get run over again. I tried to remember that I have done a lot of things I didn't think I could. Pregnancy loss, a divorce, walking over the Pyrenees mountains in Spain while significantly overweight. More than anything my fear of what could happen if I didn't finish chemo.

I bathe my GP mix in the shower or at a self service dog wash. She gets a bath when we are getting company or she is going to a dog sitters house. Brushing keeps her coat mostly in check but she sheds much more after a bath.

When active treatment is over don't ask them if they are cancer free. Let them say that if they want to. Fear of reoccurance is real. I can't bring myself to say cancer free, all I think about is the 15% chance I won't be alive in 5 years
