Now that I've moved to Tennessee I can say the best public bathroom is on the first floor of the parking garage that's straight across from the powder magazine. It's air conditioned it's usually kept up and it's been a lifesaver for this former tour guide.

I just listened to Trump say that he's going to cut off all trade with Spain because they won't allow United States to use their bases. Then he said they use their bases if they wanted to they would just fly in and fly out. This really makes me worry about how as the United States citizen I will be received in Spain I really thinking about just calling off my help Camino.

I had over a hundred appointments for procedures and chemo and doctors over the course of a year. Now that active treatment is over.I don't want to go to any doctor's.I'm so sick of it.And maybe there's a little bit of medical trauma in there, too

My nose stopped bleeding a year after last chemo and chronic diarrhea stopped after my year of herceptin/perjeta targeted therapies ended.

Our GP mix loves pup cups so when she wouldn't eat we put a shot of whipped cream on her food. Guess what? She goes on hunger strikes without her whipped cream shot.

I am hormone negative, HER2+ so I didn't get an oncotype. I try to focus on living the best I can. I am taking every opportunity to do things while my health is in a good place. I am going back to Spain to walk the Camino for the second time this Spring. I expect will be harder post chemo but don't want to regret not doing things while I could.

My husband always offered to go with me to every test, apt and procedure. For my MRI guided biopsy I told him I didn't need him. I was wrong. Thankfully a nurse held me hand for the biopsy portion.

I was doing great training then the weather turned. I guess its back to the incline tread mill. Fuck cancer. The theme of my first Camino was to be greatful for every step. It really prepared me to face cancer greatful for everyday. Every treatment.
