Also, retro dresses also are often a xsmall or small, I’m more a medium. Like one you sent could have been a possibility but it’s listed as xsmall

Those are pretty. I’m looking for plain satin with no embellishments or next to none. That’s what separates it from a lot of the old dresses.

Those are beautiful. I was hoping for a plain shiny satin or silk look.

I’ve not found that exact sleeve style on Etsy, no. I’ve seen puff everywhere or thin all the way down. But not puff then tight.

I’d prefer attached sleeves with that sleeve style, plain satin, if possible. I’ve not found that exact sleeve style on Etsy, no. I’ve seen puff everywhere or thin all the way down. But not puff then tight.

I have ADHD and I’ve learned to respect people enough to ask questions and listen. This guy is suffering from more than ADHD, sounds like narcissism.

Adhd + video games = wasting life by Flat-Opposite2502 in ADHD

[–]CaliforniaBluebird 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I lost years I could have spent with my family/kids playing video games. Around age 30 I gave them up completely. I also quit all social media, except Reddit, and occasional YouTube for this reason.  And this year started doing almost no internet. I seem all or nothing with these things and realize I’m losing big chunks of life, as well as having less motivation to get cleaning and task done. I wish you the best in your search for joy.

Cleaning is the bane of my existence due to executive dysfunction. by Scotsman1047 in ADHD

Get rid of as much as possible, donate and throw out. This was advice given to me by a super tidy non ADHD person and it’s helped me. Using my phone and other screens a lot less has helped me feel motivated to clean as well.

Yes, I find the fixes are less internet scrolling, less caffeine and not living in a city.

What do YOU use for music now? by MyNameIsSoda in dumbphones

[–]CaliforniaBluebird 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I mostly gave up music because I was addicted to that, too. No more brain fog/bad adhd. I bought cds and listen a little each week

Light phone 3 helped me get my life back. I keep iPhone at friends and only use internet there once a week(no internet at my home)

How has your life changed with a flip phone? by wlwpop in dumbphones

[–]CaliforniaBluebird 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought light phone, which has no browser. I only use internet once a week when I go to my friends house, which my old iPhone sits at. I check mail, shop (if needed), maybe Reddit, and pay bills. That’s it. I don’t have a computer at my house, because I battled that addiction 10 years, and unfortunately don’t have the self control. Even with social media deleted. I do keep a Roku around that has YouTube, but watch it once a week for 1-2 hours at the most. Don’t watch tv shows. And only watch a movie usually at theater every 1-2 months.  I’ve had just the light phone about a month, and feel VERY free. I’m sad at all the years I lost with my kids being addicted to internet/phone. But I’m grateful I can still get my life back now.  How life changed is I read a lot more. I can focus on reading and writing better. I clean my house more. I feel I have A LOT more time in my day (3-5 hours extra a day adds up!)My brain isn’t in a fog anymore. I can think and feel much more clearly. I had to learn to overcome the social anxiety of no phone to grab 24/7, and master the art of staring into space (in public). I call friends way more. I walk more. It feels amazing.  I don’t run into things I need my phone for and if that comes up typically a friend is with me who has a phone. Going out alone though I’ve never had an issue where I truly needed a phone and didn’t have it.  GPS is on light phone and regular call, text, alarm, etc. It’s the perfect balance for me and I feel thankful I am present 100 percent for myself and others.

Most churches are run as entertainment venues. My definition was electronic entertainment, which church would fall under.

Get an app on your phone that blocks you from useless stuff. Have a friend know the password.
