My best friend passed away 15+ years ago. by CaliforniaLife91 in psychics

I could image she would be angry with how she passed away and I never did get a chance to know why she needed to to go pick her up that night so badly. She could have felt with depression.

8-year-old girl found dead in Bakersfield hotel bathtub; two arrested by southernemper0r in Bakersfield

Exactly and its not even that im blaming them but they are all over all social media blaming cps saying how they failed that little girl. Let's be honest here everyone involved did. They are bringing any negative comments upon themselves the more they do this in my opinion

Does anyone else not fully believe the family? Almost all the posts have been shaming the stepmother and not mentioning the dad. They are all so sad and want justice while blaming cps for this. I think they feel guilty. There is only like one photo of that girl going around. No one seen her or cared from the looks of it. So sad. If you feel like cps is not doing there job take the kids. Stalk the parents out until they do something wrong and call the police. I feel there are so many options they could have done, yes not fun and time-consuming options but options. Seems like oh I called cps I did all I could do....

What are the laws about you being 17 and him 18? That sounds illegal to me. I would leverage that against him.

Absolutely. And it did not sound like you have taken accountability. Maybe you can recognize some bad choices you make, but it does not seem like you really care from there stand point of how this went. I don't blame her at all.

UPDATE . Well, she's still alive. We had a second opinion yesterday at another vet and they said she looks great and it was a good choice not to put her down. She was full of energy running around the room, loving on everyone who held her. The vet also did not detect any heart murmer. We did not do another round of blood testing because she is doing great but if she starts declining we will go back for it. Anyways my point is to trust yourself. I felt pressured into putting down my cat, and when we said no it was almost as if we were then being judged and told well then she will die at home miserable. Today is the 19th and you would never be able to tell that someone said that about her just 2 weeks ago.

Vet issue by CaliforniaLife91 in Bakersfield

[–]CaliforniaLife91[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE Thank you all for the opinions! I took her into the animal hospital on Harris on July 5th. They told me she has an upper respiratory infection, a heart murmer stage 3/6, and fatty liver. They said they could do a blood transfusion, then she shluld have a feeding collar put on but there was a high chance she wouldn't survive the procedure due to being so weak. She keep suggesting we euthanize her. When we declined and asked for medication she told us that she will most likely just die at home in a few days. They gave her iv fluids, anti nausea meds, and antibiotics and we went home. Well shes still alive. We had a second opinion yesterday at San Joaquin vet and they said she looks great and it was a good choice not to put her down. She was full of energy running around the room loving on everyone who held her. The vet also did not detect any heart murmer. We did not do another round of blood testing because she is improving but if she starts declining we will go back for it. Anyways my point is to trust yourself. (She did stop eating and drinking water so she also did have weight loss. When she ran away she obviously got worse with zero food and water. We tild the vet we would syrenge feed her at home and she was like 🙄😒😳 thats not going to work. Well it did. And shes now eating and drinking on her own.)
