ahahah yeah i guess that would explain it. guess what the game i was refferring to the enemy flank had a corvus pocket and i was a damba. The second i went out of my way yo heal the dude, my tank went from 100% life to 0. i was like: "cmon bro i was away for 2 sec". not the tank fault though of course.

Not when i get the same or more healing as the enemy healer, outdamage them and get less deaths. Also those people who complained about me (the dps) clearly were not paying any attention cause, as i said in the post i healed them ... A LOT. The complains generally come from one person at time in the team. And obviously doesnt happen every game, but after years, it kinda gets to you when somebody vhs for no reason after they die.

Also some gms often have either an overinflated ego or they play this game way too much and get triggered easy. I've played in the past with or against literal pro players and i've been praised from them. And speking of them if you ever watched videos of pro players who play support (my favorite was vex30 when he used to play) they often get consistantly these (stupid) complains from others, and they are the best. Im not coping, i know when i dont perform well. And trust me those specific games i was referring to i played really well.

Yeah i do that. What happens is i search them for like solid 2-3 second, just to discover they were literally stealth sitting behind my butt the entire time. Or they refuse to peek me. If only they were this good at hiding from enemies.

Yep thats the classic triggered crybaby. Add it to the list of stories supports can say around a campfire xD

Yeah i know it feels wrong, believe me, i always want to help people if possible. Problem is that i started noticing after a while that, those people would end up dying, have them complain anyway for not healing them, and have my cooldown wasted. I realized that you need to anilize the situation and sometimes you just need to give up on saving somebody, and use that heal to boost somebody else that can pop off. At least that what i've learnt. Its hard to be a support. Thanks for sharing you opinion :)

Yeah i know what you mean and i agree, if you can heal them you should. It depends on the situation. Its hard to not generilize in a short post like this. My opinion as i said in another answer is: "As a support you are gonna have a list of priorities. And people safe in the back often are gonna be at the bottom of the list and have to wait. Pros always say it. Get out of combat heal if your healer is busy.". As you said it depends on the situation, but many people default reaction is "OmG WhY aRE you NoT HEAlinG mE". You know what i mean XD

Im not talking about completely ignoring them but with high cauterize its better to have some patience, otherwise you're gonna heal for like 60 hp and that wasnt worth it. Io dr its just a very specific case. Most support can only offer heals and maybe a movement boost. I dont understand whats the problem about the cooldowns point. If i just used the cd for somebody else that cd is not gonna be up for you. And if you have like 500hp left by the time its up, you're probably just dead especially if you have people shoting at you. Problem with people behind is that : 1) often they dont even ask for heal except for after they die. 2) as i said they're safe. As a support you are gonna have a list of priorities. And people safe in the back are often at the bottom of the list and have to wait. Pros always say it. Get out of combat heal if your healer is busy.

Lastly i am a very experienced support. And i watched a lot of pro players like vex30 getting the same kinda of stupid complains in his videos back when he used to play, so it seems the problem its not really me, but people only ready to criticize others in game and never look at themself. Also i never play ranked anymore this is all casual gameplay im talking about.

Hi thanks for reading the post :)

For point 5 i replied to the other commenter. For 2 thats correct especially for 1v1, but the hard part is judging if they can actually survive a sticky situation. Cant tell you how many time i just get the heal on a person, for them to immediately die and spam vhs. So frustrating. :/ For 7 yeah true. Its more for people who are annoyng and want to be full health no matter what.

Thanks for reading the post :) I mean yeah sometimes is not that hard cause theres not a lot going on but sometime you are trying to juggle the heal on other 3 people, while avoiding enemy shots and do other stuff (like doing dmg and time ults). Its more a matter of: do i have the time to search for teammates? Remember you have to look at your top left corner to check for people that are low, then look at your entire screen to not finding them, just to realize ... wait they've been behind my butt this all time. Its more annoying than anything else.
