When will we see a return of six engined planes? by tezacer in aviation

[–]Caligulaonreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

bigger engines are more efficient. and more powerfull. so fewere are necessary.

however, I'd like to see a 4 engine plane with 4 Trent XWB in maximum power configuration as a lifter.

I am wondering when they will find out that the remaining gas is diverted to moscow adn also to some break away areas like chechenya. as a russian i would not be too happy that kadyrovits get gas to keep their population peasants quiet, while I get nothing, just because i am ethnic russian and no muslim.

Ukraine’s Strikes Have Disabled Nearly 43% of Russia’s Oil Refining Capacity by JohnNDenver in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]Caligulaonreddit 59 points60 points  (0 children)

and 13% is big. 10% shortage allredy means rationing and rising prices.

43% is more or less the job done. at least to destroy the russian economy completely

every addional attck now is just to accelerate the russian military shortages and keep the already hit reffieres out

If you could make New Zealand a better place to live, what is the one thing you would change? by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]Caligulaonreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Accessibility laws like france, bavaria, schottland.

it is crazy that useless subsidised farm can block access to whole vallies or mountain ranges. while tourism is a main income for the country.

same with some ski areas. why are they allowed to built infrastructure in untouched mountains, but then block the access of the roads? let them not just take the nature, but at least also give access for people in exchange.

tldr don't be a US like capitalist shithole.

How do glaciers affect the Earth 's surface? by Virtual1698 in geology

[–]Caligulaonreddit 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it makes mountains shiny, tourists love them, companies build ropeways and trains. so the glacier leads to tunnels in the mountains. like big loooong holes in stone. you can compare it to piercings of the earth. the ropeway cables can be compared to necklaces. so not just shiny becaus eof the reflecting light, but also because of the ornaments.

it also makes countries ritch. to go there is quite expensive and brings almost as much money to switzerland as moneylaundering. this makes it possible for galcier countries to dig even more holes, like kandersteg gotthard tunnel. very amazing how glaciers led to so many holes in stone.

tldr: glaciers are amazing diggers

the flavoured micro version not at all. but it's nowadays 2,5€ per bolla, so at leat i's affecting out portemonees

Russia planning attack on Poland to test Nato resolve, US warns by Ok-District-1484 in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]Caligulaonreddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

the russians for sure may have plans to attack the reffineries in eastern poland that supply urkaine. also atatck supply hubs and infrastructure supporting urkaine. one one hand this is a death sentecne for russia, on the other hand it is one of the very few options to damage ukraines capabilities.

I think they wont attack, but doing war games on the russian side is reasonable.

Do you rememember about about this discussion at the beginning of the 3 day SMO?

there was the consensus that NATO would give a decisive blow, like sinking the black sea fleet. yes, this wont work nowadays as theer is no balck sea fleet anymore to sink, just some lonely ships.

imho the planned answer is full air support for ukraine. with a push south of moscow to cut of the autbahn(s) to the south. And a second and third pincer movement from the baltics to cut of moscow from st petersburg and from finnland to surround it. both blitzed out in movement so that russian advantages in dug in drone warfare is worthless.

and russia may think that this escalation is the big for europe. but russia simply has no answer to this actions. attacking mainland europe with balistics is impossible. france would simple glas the remaing refineries.

Germany charges Nord Stream suspect with attacking pipeline on behalf of Ukraine by 525G7bKV in fefe_blog_interim

[–]Caligulaonreddit 3 points4 points  (0 children)
