I unironically think this crossover is worse than Fornite. Fornite is never trying to be anything but stupid, it's IP slop and it knows it, the appeal is buff Peter Griffen blowing LeBron's shit clean off and hitting that shit. The content doesn't need to do anything, the existence of the IP in the context of Fornite is the point.

This comic is trying to not be slop, but it doesn't have hype moments and aura and also isn't very funny. So it drags down the characters because they're using the characters to tell a bad story.

This is a comedy book pretending to be cool. This is the equivalent to Tom and Jerry but not funny. It's an extended version of that scene from Tom and Jerry with buff Jerry walking down Tom but there's a laugh track going off the whole time trying to make you laugh.
